Hey dude I saw once in the shoedio a while back that you had those Antepes shoes, with negative heel to to drop. I can't find a review for them though, did you do one? Or were they that bad, you were just like "let's not speak of this again"
I don't really know about that Skechers comment. My 2 highest mileage shoes all-time are both Skechers (Go Run Ride 7 and Go Run Ride 8) beating multiple Asics, Saucony, Nike or Hoka shoes
Personal thoughts from fall 2023 try-on: much improved from the past version, I just don't know where I'd fit it into my rotation 🤷♂️ there are softer options for recovery runs, and there are lighter options for long runs and daily training.
QD: Working in run specialty, a buying trend I've noticed is that people are becoming more polarized when it comes to cushion. I've noticed more and more people like something a bit firmer nowadays.
Agreed. We're all staring at Hoka with their extremely expensive shoes that never go on sale.... and still use EVA?? 🤣 How about the Rebel line? They had an extremely successful nitrogen infused TPU in the 1, 2, and 3... and then switched to a "Pebax infused EVA" for the 4... likely because Pebax gave them some kind of incentive to incorporate the material? into... EVA? Yeah, no.
@@JaySizz In some ways, the Rebel is even worse in my mind. I think NB just wanted to say Peba for its marketing capabilities. But then they do 80% EVA 🤷🏻♂️
Disagree about the price rating. You give a 9 on durability, and is priced cheaper than shoes that will only give you half the lifespan 🤔
All shoes are expensive anyway.
Perhaps something like “value index” should be used. Durability score/ price=VI.
Pricing score is so subjective it is worthless.
Hey Seth? Did you have to delete the On review?
Embargo issues. If he keeps going like this companies are going to stop sending him shoes.

Seems like a perfect option for heavier runners...the price, though.
Who in heck wants to run in a shoe labeled as a tank ? 😮
My wife and I have the t-shirt that Seth is wearing today!

Qd, my Gel Cumulus got more cushion. So far i don't like the change. It rocks differently. But I'm giving it time to grow on me.
QOD: I’d say blended foams. EVA/Peba or something similar.

Meanwhile the 1080 and Nimbus 26 is bestsellers for us...
Qod- they seem to be getting heavier again…
Oh Seth my OCD gets triggered with your closeup shots of the twisted laces!!😂
Me too 😂
Please review hoka mach 6
The trend is wider shoes right across the board. It is a good time to have wide feet, not so good if you do not.
And y’all know about scrunching? More volume, more scrunching which is great if you have wide feet, not so good if you do not.
Trend (bad one imo) I’m seeing is companies not letting go of EVA.
