Amy Lee's voice is dark and beautiful. It is like a fallen angel, darkness overwhelming it, yet holding immeasurable beauty inside of the simple tones and words. Ben and Amy were raised Christian but Evanescence was never a Christian band in any way and they stated this; the band started in an era when some rock bands would be initially marketed as Christian rock, but they spoke out against that marketing and the band was pulled from it.

This was the first Evanescence song I heard, I was 8 when I heard it for the first time... Now I'm 12, but I still adore Evanescence and this song is still my favourite...

I would always listen to this at 3-6 AM, being super creeped out by it, but not in a bad way. No whenever I listen to it after 12 PM I get those morning.. creepy vibes.

I love this band❤! Because they talk about what most people choose to ignore. Sadly, this is how so many people feel like this, and really wish that some how I could be more helpful. I spent most of my life reaching out to those who like me have walked through countless traumas and hells that no eles can see, understand or wants to know about for whatever reason. I reached out so much that I burn myself out. I helped a lot of people, but I through all effort that put into my willingness to others. I accidentally increased my trauma. I'm not suffering from my former trauma alone but also everyone else as well. I just wanted to help people like so that they didn't have feel like they were alone, I always felt. But instead It bad fired and now as much as I can't reach out to others because the constant contact with others pains and trauma has become troubling,and only brings me more problems instead. However I still have no regrets, because I believe in life! And life is important, so to those of you in this world world who feel like you're all alone, your not!❤ smile it helps😊
