I just recently met Typhoon at ACW Wisconsin's Water City Wrestling Con in Oshkosh, WI. I got him to sign his recently released Top Picks figure.Got to meet Jake "the Snake" Roberts at that event as well.
Loved this video. My top 10 would be 1) Demolition 2) LOD 3) Steiners 4) Nasty Boys 5) Natural Disasters 6) Money Inc 7) Mega Powers 8) Rockers 9) Snuka and Steamboat(South Pacific Connection) 10) Bushwackers
While I was too young to purchase hasbro figures when they were out, I do have a similar story with the l.o.d. but with the bine crunching line. My grandpa took me to toys r us and we were on the hunt. I swear he was more excited to get them than I was. A memory I will always cherish
This is an awesome Top 10! 1. LOD 2. Demolition 3. Nasty Boys 4. Rockers 5. Bushwhackers 6. Smoking Guns 7. Steiner Bros 8. Headsheinkers 9. Natural Disaster 10. Twin Towers Just missed it: New Foundation, Money Inc, Evil krush & Yoko. I ranked the matching tag teams higher.
I wish The Beverly Brothers were in the original Hasbro line. Woth The Genius too. But Zombie is giving us Power & Glory, so, I hold out hope for Beau and Blake. Warlord and Martel, I love it!!
I would sometimes have The New Foundation in the ring since Owen and The Anvil had matching attire as figures. Lots of wrestling fans were sad without Rhythm and Blues.
I dont have a top 10 tag teams, but I did have 3 of these Hasbro figures way back in the day. I had the Boss man that was paired with Akeem. I wanted to buy him again last year, but of course the one I had is the more expensive/rare one :P I had Smash, and I still have him to this day. I finally bought Ax to go with him so now I have Ax and Smash. The other one I had that wasn't shown in this video is the gorilla press Hulk Hogan. Loved that one and I need to buy him again.
So we missed sooo many tags that were a real thing. High Energy New Foundation Money Inc Jake Roberts/Undertaker MegaManiacs MegaPowers Smoking Gunns Ultimate Maniacs And the list goes on and on.
Late Summer of 91, Rockers and Warrior #2 were my very first wrestling figures. Rockers never appreciated in value because they kept cranking out reprints all the way through 1992 when they were long separated. I never saw the red, purple and blue carded figures in Toys R Us but the Rockers and Bushwhackers were peg warming all the way up to 1996 after the Hasbro line got cancelled.
I once took a Z Man wcw galoob figure went to town on it with magic markers to make a custom Great Muta and paired him with Sting. I know this video is on hasbro figures but I thought I'd put that out there
1. Always Demolition Smash was also my world champion for years 2. Mega powers, they were over but I wasn't over them 3. Steiners big time feud with money inc. 4. MoneyInc. Lost to Steiners every PPV for a year 5. Natural disasters 6. Nasty boys 7. Headshrinkers 8. Twin towers 9. L.O.D. 10. Rockers Never a bushwhackers fan... Kyle come on man you can't use series 3 boss man instead on series 1! That's heel boss man!

Congrats on the 41k subscribers, Kyle.

Funny at see the Bushwackers in WWE being the goofy guys when I remember them being The Sheephearders being very violent

Congrats. Great review! Would love to hear your top 5-10 Sean Waltman figs
As a kid I had most of those Hasbro figures except for The Nasty Boys , L.OD. and The Natural Disasters.and I had Ax and Smash but not Crush.
I once took a Z Man wcw galoob figure went to town on it with magic markers to make a custom Great Muta and paired him with Sting. I know this video is on hasbro figures but I thought I'd put that out there
I am looking for the high flyers Greg Gagne and Jim Brunzell!
Yes I'm that old.........
Loved the stories of your childhood
Martel and Warlord? That’s a wildcard! I was thinking you were gonna throw the Mega Powers in there. Good list though 👍🏻
To be honest, I was surprised that the Texas Tornado and the Ultimate Warrior were not in that list.
I was born in 96 and I can confirm I’ve had the rockers
I only had the Rockers as a kid so the fact that they were number 10 speaks to how many awesome tag teams I missed out in this line.
1. Always Demolition Smash was also my world champion for years
2. Mega powers, they were over but I wasn't over them
3. Steiners big time feud with money inc.
4. MoneyInc. Lost to Steiners every PPV for a year

10. Rockers

This fig all best all time
Take out Martel and Warlord and replace them with the purple card Dibiase and IRS
