In this video, I share my honest opinion and thoughts men in nursing. Specifically the type of man will be a great nurse and what it takes for men to make it in this field. I encourage all men to watch this to consider nursing as a career choice. The truth is men in nursing are still the minority in a female dominated working profession.

I’ve been binging your videos for a while now. I’m about to start school at WCU for BSN, a lot of debt after graduation but at 27 years old I feel like all the time I wasted through lack of education, growing up poor and mismanagement of money when I was making 80-100k a year in car business has led me to this point. The tuition is now the price I feel I have to pay especially for an accelerated program. But i’m happy, and I know great things will come of this, for once in my life I feel like i’m making the right decision.
I appreciate you sharing that! I know it’s been a journey to get here, but that’s really okay. Life finds a path for us. It’s all a lesson. Taking an accelerated program to save on time is worth it. Yes the tuition hurts, but moving forward you’ll make good money and you’ll have a stable job. Just gotta apply good money spending and saving habits and you’ll be more than well. Happy to know my videos help in some way, I’m around if you ever have questions or just need motivation. Goodluck on this path as you go forward!
I never would've thought it could be a career for me. Becoming a father and nurturing and raising my son has completely changed my mind. I don't think nurturing man is an oxymoron. I'm finishing my Pre-Reqs this summer!

Of course! Glad to help in any way. If nursing is pulling you in, go for it! It’s a solid career choice. I’ve seen there is no specific timeline to do it. I’ve seen many do it as a second career and own it!

about to start nursing school in august. scared, worried if its not gonna be for me, scared about the stress. ugh
I was very scared and nervous too. I remember my stress level was through the roof on the inside, on the outside people wouldn’t even know lol. You aren’t alone in that worry, but it does get better.
