Really helpful great job, I’m at the beginning of getting into reaching and you have been the best I’ve found so far re your communication of experience
Thank you! That means a lot ☺️ This is one of my earliest videos, but I have a whole playlist for teacher training applications with more details. Do be sure to check that out and good luck in your application!
Hi, thank you for all of your videos they helped me alot with my interview preparation. I had an interview yesterday and I found out today that I was successful! 😁🙌
thank you so much for this helped me to feel confident with what i have planned and more tips to Scitt questions as i have an interview 1st week in January.
Aw bless you! As long as you're prepared you'll be fine! If you're scared for the interview, ask friends or family to ask you questions and you practice replying them naturally. You'll soon form some answers that you keep going back to. What's most on your mind? Xx
It was bothering me that I felt underprepared and not confident enough.. but I had the interview today and found out pretty much immediately that I’ve been accepted! Thanks so much for your video, I definitely couldn’t have got through that interview without your great advice and tips!! I may even start my own channel to document my experiences one day! Xx
Thank you for your advice... but how the interview would look like now with all the coronavirus issues? do you have any tip for that ?;) Where can I follow the latest news in teaching? I mean a reliable website. Thank you so much
For teaching-related news I would either keep updated on the government website as that is where they will release new recommendations or legislation, if not the TES website has lots of news articles. Regarding interviews now due to COVID, I can't really comment, however, I would imagine it being similar regarding planning an activity except this time you may just have to deliver it on Zoom to the interviewers. Questions etc. will be similar just not delivered face to face.
Hello. Newbie subscriber here. Where are you from originally? Im from Philippines , I was a Licensed Teacher there. How could I apply here in UK as a Teacher? Thanks
Hi there, thanks for subscribing! You would have to check that your previous qualifications are an equivalent to the requirements here in the UK, then you would go about by either applying through UCAS if you need further qualifications or job hunting through the likes of the local council you'll live at or on job sites such as Indeed. Hope that helps x
Hello! Part of planning an activity. They gave asked me read a Read and complete a brief subject knowledge audit for foundation subjects. Are you able to support me with this question? Thankyou, your videos are so helpful!
Hi! Thanks for watching, I'm happy to help 😊 Can you clarify that planning of the activity and the subject knowledge are two separate things for your interview? I was a little confused by your wording x
@@PetitePrimary hello, I'm not really sure as if says 1. Plan a pupil-interaction story activity (15mins) for lower KS2 (Y3) to enthuse and encourage some learning. 2. Read and complete a brief subject knowledge audit for foundation subjects. I'm very unsure what they want me to do here, I thought it was related to my activity but now I'm uncertain. Thankyou x
@@KimberleyForrest Thanks for clarifying. I can confirm these are two separate tasks. The audit will be done there, you don't need to prepare in advance. The activity you will have to prepare in advance x

Came across this after my interview today and I must say that you’ve made some great points in this video. BTW Igor the placement 🙃
I assume you mean you got the placement? If so, congratulations! What questions did they ask you? Xx
What type of question they asked ? I have got my interview this coming monday for PGCE Maths secondary and I’m sooooo scared
@@Mehdiandizzah Check the time stamps on this video, I go through questions. I also have a separate video with more questions in my PGCE playlist x

@sshoota1zzah What questions were you asked during the interview?
you could have used sticky labels to put on their t shirts and make it easy to remember the names
That's a good tip, just be wary of timings if you have that many children
So incredible helpful. Interview tomorrow and in a couple of weeks too. I've been replying this over and over. Very nervous :)
