- Building a vibration pole for mounting Laser receiver on dozer blade, showing the laser receiver and dual slope laser I went with, and discussing a couple new excavation youtube channels. More Info in the video. @tristardiggin @smithworx1091 PS: I figured out if you lower one tripod leg and angle the laser, it will do a slope up to 15 percent. Will only go to 5 percent when setting level. I was a little unclear on that in the video. Also @smithworx1091 does have a Dozer now, a shiny new D3.

It's coming my friend.
Chase,
Thanks for the mention I really appreciate that.
Cool project and that is a sweet laser setup. Looking forward to seeing that in action...
No problem, I meant to do it sooner but I let it slip my mind for a bit, I'm glad I went with this laser, being able to change the settings on your phone is nice. Don't even need to get off the dozer unless you need to change the height.
@@LifeWithChase Right, blue tooth would be sweet. Mine has the remote. Which I don't use much, if any...
@@tristardiggin yep, usually always have phone handy , a remote would be Just something else to keep up with.
Man I appreciate the shout out. I like that receiver. I'd like that on my 313. That's a really nice looking dozer also!
No problem, I thought your 313 had the grade control built in. I got this to cut some drainage ditches on 1/2 percent slope. Over 1/4 mile worth of slopes and ditches. A lot of dirt to move with a dozer.
@@LifeWithChase it does. But it's still limited without some type of reference point.
