Today we take apart an interesting 2 in 1 that sports Beats Audio. Will it live up to the hype or will it be like other Beats Audio that is included in laptops and have room to improve?

I just bought it in the middle of 2023 for $80 in very good condition! I don't regret it, I'll expand the storage and it will work for a long time

HP laptops age very well, on the other hand. My father has 2 HP laptops from 2009 and 2012 and they still run now, only the hdd had to be replaced because they have physical moving parts
Generally speaking I've enjoyed the ones I've owned too. They just don't tend to wear as nicely over the years.

Reminds me of the hp 1010 mini netbook I had around 2008-2009..
It's an interesting beast. Definitely designed with consumption in mind. Keyboard feels like an after thought.
Any chance you know what kind of charger it takes i have one with no charger I’m trying find the right one
Good question. Sometimes I check eBay listings for photos that include the charger to see if I can get the specs. Sadly I haven't seen this machine in a very long time.
What's the most storage wise it can go up to? I've just dug mine out of the loft haha.

I have an hp x2, model: 10-p020nl, but i rarely use it, the atom x5 z8350 and only 4gb of ram don't work even for daily use, sometimes it won't even play yt videos
Interesting to know. Not sure what it would be good for beyond consuming content but it sounds like different versions might struggle.
@@LaptopRetrospective also it came with only 64gb internal memory and windows 10 x64... I partially solved the video problem using a chrome plugin: h264ify, that force the use of the gpu (hp says is an intel hd 400, and i checked is actually worse than the hd 4000 in my lenovo x230)

im having problems with the latch part, its kind of disarming, would you help me to find out how to fix it please?
Hrmmm. Disarming you say? As in unlatching on its own?
If you you mean is the hinge is kinda falling apart, I have the same :(

Pretty sure the CPU is soldered. So not without changing the whole motherboard.
