but the groosbeat, do the same that the kickstar... or not?
Jordi Afassi yes, but you need to draw your own sidechain, play with attack end release of this Fl Studio plugin Crossbeat. Use what you want and create your own sound.
Thank You Nick Romero.🙏🙏🙏
Whats the Track name on this project, u didnt play it as fully drop to show the result of your presets & samples.
💕
Wish we had this many popular producers doing tutorials 5 years ago when I was starting...
Yeah I was thinking this same thing
I feel you bro
I would say you were lucky if you started out 5 years ago since the music business is so busy and crowded nowadays
@@LemoBeatc it was always busy and crowded, and when it wasn't, it cost renting a studio with analogue gear to actually make anything.
@@daaze1093 really? you can't create a beat on a daw and just release it?
Sylenth1 the VST that will never die... lol
I would say Nexus 2. It has been since 2006 and people still use it.
@@miscellaneous1276 True but if you ask around Sylenth 1... Nexus is more a Rompler

@@montassir95s38 Another one!!! lol

Nicky Romero is my inspiration. A legend.

The best thing ever is me starting production now to find all of u legends making awesome tutorials!
Nicky has worked his ass off to become one of the best dj/producer. RESPECT
My favorite DJ and my inspiration
Nicky Romero + Music = My life
That helped a lot, thank you for sharing your ideas. Expecting more tutorials.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us Nicky, you are a true Legend ✈
I would pay whatever to have this God as a teacher. I’m making a song using his presets and samples and it really sounds crazy!!!!
Ok
Lukas Hertle you seem so friendly
plz show us the project of Love You Forever cz for sure its not all the saw lead but you used some kind of guitars and then also the drop sound so full!
Always struggled with this type of leads :D
@@XXXPUBLICENEMY same dude!
It would be awesome if he did this
For things like this one Nicky Romero is awesome :D
hello, you are my idol Nicky I adore your music makes me feel very good greetings from Mexico
Big love for this opportunity!
Thanks Nicky 🙏
Kickstart is a reallg good plugin🙏🙏
MenD and fucking cheap too 😉
Such A Talented Producer 🙏
Talented Producer
Thanks for doing this Nicky. I love your music and this is very helpful.
I will definitely check out the pack! 😎
This is actually the best explanation on why layering is important - thank you so much!
Have you ever wondered wtf do these producers do with those synthesizer in the back?
i mean a lot of them use them and quite often at that, calvin harris loves analog stuff! they show the VSTs more often because its just a bit easier im guessing
Heyy.. such a blessing.. thanks bud.
Happy King's Day Nicky!
2:23 "It has a lot of delay, a lot of reverb" but there's no delay or reverb turned on in the Sylenth1 preset. So the actual reverb and delay are effects being used on the channel. Just sayin' 🙂
lolol
Thanks nicky romero love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳♥️
Always learning something new
I really love these videos! Thanks Nicky!!

sad, we didn't get to hear the final result
Thank you so much Nicky true house dj/producer inspiration!
thank you Nicky
Great idea with sample pack 👏
Really a hard job bro it's really easy to listen to a song ! Keep up the good work 👌
Hey Nicky! thanks for your awesome tutorials !
But one thing i want to say - can you do a tutorial about what you actually have in the plugin chain on the main sounds?
its really cool to hear the sounds one by one ! but it will be awesome and soooooo valuable if you do a tutorial that you show how you processing your sounds !
which compressors are you using, how you eq, how you use reverbs, etc ...
Thanks !
We are working on tutorials :) so coming soon, in the meantime i use a lot of Fabfilter plugins & UAD plugins like Maag EQ, Massive Passive & Neve 88RS.
@@NickyRomero Thanks !!
Learning sound design at the moment,
hoping to sign at Protocol soon :)
I can see now how struggle it is to compose a music, you ve nailed every explaination on each of the subject matter, although im totally lost as i dont have any basics on musical theory, i do enjoy ur inspirational video, if there s only one thing ive learned from it, music composin cant be achieved in one night only, haha
My favourite sample pack to use. I also use the Koyu kollection packs with it as well. They’re all great sample packs and nowhere near as expensive as the KSHMR ones but same if not better quality. Since you only get so many credits per month it makes them much easier to get
Scott Bailey completely agree. KSHMR’s pack are good, but they are way overused. Both Denis Koyu’s Kollektion packs on Splice are insane. Just pick the sample and drag it into the playlist. Also, check the Teamworx’s and Tom & Jame’s new sample packs cause they are also super awesome.
Dirty Rebel thanks for the suggestions. I’ll have a look at them. I’ve been saving for a while until I find some more good packs or until I can afford KSHMR’s 2nd pack since that’s the only one I don’t have of the 3
Scott Bailey it all depends on the genre that you’re producing. For the progressive house, you cannot find better than Nicky Romero’s and Deniz Koyu’s sample packs. Teamworx have a lot of their signature samples in the pack and they are more for bigroom and some groove kinda style. KSHMR’s packs are for tons of different genres, but I think they are way overused.
@@iamvukasinn kshmr have some nice folders ofc
Percussion , kicks for layering for example
Synths, synth loops , also Atmospheric sounds, it's really good! It's Overused or not i can't say but, it's good pack
Hey Nicky awesome man the best!!
Amazing!
🔥🔥 amazingg
Nice video! Thanks for the help :)
when a collaboration with Sophie Francis!!!😀😀😀
Nicky romero : I can make a full track in just a week
Me who is not finding intro and outro
Wow! Excelent!
2020 was year, when DJS made tutorials
Thank you Nicky! Super helpful. How do you go about choosing the right kick? Do you layer kicks?
Good one!🔥🔥
This was a great video tutorial
Nice video 🙏🏻
👍👍👍eres el mejor Nicky Romero
Final result: 15:35
Great video 😍💯
I've tried the presets. but pretty basic almost all of em . You can find em in other presets as well.I had high hope about this however.this time he let us down.but thanks for making my life easier with kickstart.
Thanks bro
Nicky u are the man . I downloaded a lot of these presets. Unfortunately most of them won’t work in serum for whatever reason
Not most / just some
Even though the 2 sub-basses are on 2 different octaves, doesn't the mix get real muddy?
Not if you eq them so that they only play in the octave you need them to be present.
@@NickyRomero I thought so by logically getting there but the confirmation from you is a really helpful one, thanks.
Alternatively you could use a sine here (at least for the lower layer), cause a sine only has one frequency and thus no upper harmonics that could clash with the other sub one octave up.
@@markichsen9705 that's true.
Hello!!!! Greetings from Perú 👍😄
Is this the first version of Nicky Romero & Sick Individuals - Only For You? :)
Hey, I don't have Splice, so I can't use it, but the video was informative as well, really nice :)
Also I wonder if Florian Picasso told that about the paintings haha
p.s. ik hoop dat er snel weer een livestream is :D (en het bericht had ook volledig in het Nederlands gekund, maar daar dacht ik pas later aan, oeps)
genial
First comment ❤🇮🇳 who's love Nicky Romero music ❤ raise Your Hands ✌🙌❤
10:32 Which Picasso we talking about here Florian or Pablo himself?
I'm a huge fan of you your hit song toulouse is awesome I'll be honored to meet you someday
It seems that he said "Mid Bass" when he was playing High Bass.
Is it correct? Tell me...
I agree
no, the high bass was even higher. His mid was quite high, yes
plz continue ur masterclass series
alright , imma buy this..
hoho
🔥
has someone else noticed how muddy the splice (serum) presets sound? There is like white noise in the background
Keep making this tutorials
❤️
see those synths in background
you wanna sound like you, by using my sample pack of course
Laten zien hoe je dat doet wil je met samples en echt goed nummer maakt en dat dat geen copyright meer is
1:23 Leveling, the most important part is not explained..
❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥
***Good video*** ¿¿¿Nick Romero plugins??? I didn't know it. On the other hand: 13:17 That's the trick to sound louder in th electronic Music... ***Good point*** Bass-sub frequencies shouldn't play at the time of the kick... ¡Romero, Gime a tip! (96khz/24 ...or.... 48khz/24) Thanks...
Like this videos :)
I have the same chair =O
I can't Download the Presets pack ...
it says there is an Error 1020
why ??
For the sample pack I need to get all the pack? I can’t see it on splice🤔
Japan🇯🇵
💣🔥🔥💯🙏
What pad you used..?
7:37I really wish he’d answered this question properly, instead of just saying ‘all of the channels have a different importance in the lead synth’. 8:18 This might be helpful for beginners. More helpful would be how to adjust all of the mid range and higher frequencies of the different layers, so they don’t all sound muddy.
What program are you using? because I do not see this is splice
really frustrating, I bought this and I can not even use it
Well, it's a preset pack (it literally says so in the name), not software. He mentiones the names of the synths he's using here "Sylenth 1" and "Spire". The host software (the DAW) is Logic Pro X, but you could use any DAW.
What he means with that the lead has the same processing?
All lead sounds are routed to the same buss where you can apply EQ & Compression so they will glued together to sound as one layer!
Why do u have sidechain on ur arm
hmm, i have always thought it was better to delete the reverb from the different leads and then add reverb on the bus
Can be done in the synth or out of the synth just depends on what sounds better, in my case it's different all the time, sometimes reverb from the synth and sometimes an external reverb.
En mijn school waar ik op zat is dpg Media Radio 538
How did he use 2 subs? Can someone explain it to me please?
A different set of instruments can be used to produce low frequencies as the high-bass , the mid bass and the sub bass. For this he's using the mid bass and the sub bass Simultaneously.
The high bass is around : 500Hz - 250Hz
The mid bass is around : 250Hz - 60Hz
The sub is around : 60Hz - 20Hz
This video works like a magnet on me. Wow I’ve learnt some very important small details here. Great job mister. Huh? Picasso? 😳What’s that? Some kind of giant ugly scary dinosaur that eats real talented people?👹
👀👀👀
Imagine if Nicky Romero didn't use Kickstart haha
Ik ben opgelicht door mijn school uit Rotterdam En mpa
