    Hey guys real quick, just want to clarify that you actually CAN play out a metallic of the volcanic (or vise versa) when using dorbick's digixros. The reason I was confused was because I was treating "under a card" the same as "battle area" which they ARE NOT (eg. Ace cards specify then as two different locations)

    Super helpful video! With so many complications and interactions it is really nice to see you make a video for each set! Keep up the good stuff!

    Great video! I think you missed a pretty critical and often confusing part about lilithX interaction with immunity:
    If the digimon is able to be affected by the effect (i.e. lilithX when digivolving/ 7th fascination) but then manages to get immunity after the fact in their turn they effectively retroactively become immune to the *instance* that gave them the effect, meaning:
    if you target a non-immune magnaX with lilithX, etc. -> on magnaX player's turn they manage to get immunity on magnaX it no longer needs to delete itself even though it was tagged with the effect when it was not immune.

    I believe the Dorbick-Linkz Dragons ruling effectively allows you to play the mon.
    Whenever a Digimon Card is on the (Battle) Area, it creates an instance of a Digimon, being it a separate concept (Card /= Digimon). When you place the Volcanicdramon or Metallicdramon cards from the Battle Area under Dorbickmon while digicrossing, the card itself may still be visible, but the instance of such Digimon ceases to exist, thus it leaves Battle Area.
    That's why mons with protection against leaving Battle Area (take Alphamon BT13 as an example) are also able to defend against removal effects such as Bagramon BT11 and Arresterdramon:SM BT12

      @@Hectormr98 yes sorry you are right on this one! Under a card and the battle area are two different locations right

      So would the digixrossing not count as removal by your own effect? Or does the digicrossing count as a cost?

      @@shelbyramin1376 as it is mentioned in the video ( 20:08 ), digicross is not an actual effect but rather a gamerule, so it does not count as one of your effects

    From what I understand the 4 cost shoto can also redirect into unsuspended digimon! So in your example with EX7 Zepha you could swing at the suspended body, tap 4 cost shoto to switch attack target to the unsuspended body, untap from lvl 5, zepha eff to bottom deck the original attack target by suspending itself, tap 3 cost shoto to unsuspend and get piercing! You clear both bodies and get two checks!

    Can you Overclock more then once per turn with the same Digimon? If you have Cendrillmon and 2 Shoemon, can you essentially Overclock twice?

    The lilithmon interactions really make that deck scary for decks that love to trigger attack effs like overclock, vortex, omnimon ace with the tai/matt tamer, etc. i think lilithmon x def has more legs than people give credit, though it has a really stinky matchup into dexdorugora and red hybrid.

    Ao are you able to suspend shoto before the atack connects on the vortex section? I’m getting told at my locals that you can’t

    • @donkeyknogg
      @donkeyknogg  3 месяца назад

      If you reach end of turn, yes you can! Typically you would vortex swing, resolve any when attacking effects, and then resolve the shoto to unsuspend and give blocker piercing

      Not so sure about that…
      End of Turn Procedures begin when the the memory counter is 1 or higher on the opponent's side and there are currently no on-going attacks or effects pending activation.

      Q: Can I activate a Digimon with "Vortex Warrior" as my trait and then activate that Digimon's "Vortex" with this card's [End of Your Turn] effect?
      A: Yes, it can be activated. [Since "End of Your Turn" and "Vortex" are triggered at the same time, you can activate them in any order among those triggered at the same time. [1]
      Q: Can I activate the [End of Your Turn] effect of this card after activating Digimon's "Vortex" which has "Vortex Warrior" as my trait?
      A: Yes, it can be activated. [Since the effect of "End of Your Turn" and "Vortex" are triggered at the same time, they can be activated in any order among those triggered at the same time. In this case, "VOLTEX" is activated and attack is declared, but after activating the effect of this card triggered at the same time, it proceeds to "Counter Timing".

    So from a quick check w Sanzomom EX6, the Dorbick x Dragon Linkz ruling feels weird.
    The ruling on Sanzo and her crew state that DigiXross does trigger them and as far as I can tell the only change in their wording is the "By your effect" portion.
    That said the ruling for Metalic does support that you dont get to play an extra mon, just the reason seems to be that its because you "cant play a mon while playing a mon" if Im reading it correctly.

      So if they had another digimon that one would be affected, but magna x would not gain the end of turn trigger.

    On Seventh Fascination: Is this a global effect like say Shinegrey Ruin Mode or does the word "give" change it to only be valid on activation?
    In particular what I'm asking is does this give the effect to all digimon that would enter play on that following turn?

    • @donkeyknogg
      @donkeyknogg  3 месяца назад +1

      It is a global effect! So yeah just like ruin it will affect things that come into play later
