THANK YOU, NAOKO & TOEI FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN!!!!! I'm so happy and excited for Sailor Cosmos, she rightly deserves this!!!! YAY!!!!!
Not really liking her final pose but woah she's so ethereal and looks so graceful, I still can't believe that we've already got a chance to see her being animated after like what, since the 90s. It's an honour to see her in her full glory like this, regal and elegant.
@@Simon_Electric Now that you mentioned it I'm imagining the pose with her wand and it looks more odd lol. Also I don't think they forgot to draw it in since she materialised it when talking to the asteroid senshis after Usagi went into the cauldron. It'll be weird to have it in the transformation then for it to disappear right after then reappear again. Overall the final pose is naturally odd paired with the pretty but underwhelming transformation.
Yea its make sense she her future self .even the creator herself confirmed that she is sailor moon from the future when she said that chibi chibi is sailor moon from the future. I also read from website that sailor cosmos is sailor moon uasgi from a far a far future
The flowers boarding the frame at the end are called Cosmos. They are a native flower to North America and can grow as tall as sunflowers. Love the animators' attention to detail!
The ending pose should have been the pose of her front view holding her cape (the pose we've seen when they revealed her VA) but without her staff. It would've been better than this one which no matter how many times I watch it looks weird, it isn't even a stylize side pose, she's side standing normal, it feels as tho she's just awkwardly there. No hate but it could've been better, this is Sailor Cosmos if you're going to do a full on transformation like this go all out, creative and unique background, angle shots, fluidity, more movements, amazing effects etc. This is Kakyuu transformation in reverse.
I know it’s exciting she got one but I agree it feels off. I feel like Cosmos should have gotten the same fluid treatment and creativity Chibi Moon did. I’ve seen fans make better transformations for Cosmos after the winged shoes it’s just “meh”
@@kstarnovagal6672 I agree, I can not tell you how many times I've watch this and the sense of disappointment grows, I had to stop myself as you said it shouldn't feel 'meh' this is Sailor Cosmos. The fact that it's Kakyuu transformation reversed means it has the weird thing in it as well. I haven't seen anyone point it out so it's probably more of a me thing but when Kakyuu get her clothes the gradient on her body disappears and she got her normal skin colour but when we see her feet it has the gradient on, it feels weird if they were going to give her normal skin colour at the start it should've stayed consistent when we see her feet. This weird detail transferred to Cosmos. She gets her heels gradient gone but when we her upper half gradient on. They should've done the same thing like SM and CM with her, only when she has all her clothing on remove the gradient.
Check out the Cosmos transformation by a fan shadowsaturn. Literally the same concept Toei tried to do here but didn’t execute. It’s also all handmade.

You guys should check out the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Season 5 now that it's been Dubbed. The original Sailor Moon Cosmos series. It's a hilarious part if Sailor Moon. The Three Lights Seya ,Yaten and Taiki Kou are some of the best parts of the series.
I didn't expect a full on transformation for Cosmos well at least not in this way, I thought it'll be more straightforward but beautiful and more importantly in the moment type of transformation.
Sailor Cosmos is so beautiful and ethereal but this transformation is alright. It doesn't fully emphasize or enhance her presence, also not feeling the end pose.

So Sailor Cosmos, Sailor Galaxia and Sailor Kakyuu get their own transformations and yet Toei could not give Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn their own Eternal transformations in SM Cosmos? What the hell? But they were still able to change certain aspects from the original Manga like the Sailor Starlights supposedly dying while fighting Sailor Phi (or is that Sailor Chi) and defending their Princess Kakyuu instead of just having their Sailor Crystals taken by Phi (or Chi) while unconscious but they couldn’t give the Outer Senshi the respect they deserve.😂😆

I've been saying this and people attack me tell me that I'm wrong for wanting them to put out less surprises in trailers. But I feel like they don't care, it's already out on Japan. Part one box office peaked at #9 part 2 peaked at #4 , they don't care if fans outside of Japan are mad lol
@@rbmaia5 I wouldn't consider it a flop. Part 2 peaking at #4 is actually very good , I think people probably waited to watch both movies at the same time so that's why the 2nd half did better. It's already doing better than eternal , but I do feel they have a disregard for fans outside of Japan. Hopefully it will be in international cinema theaters before it goes to streaming. I never saw sailor moon in theaters when I was younger so I would like to experience that I'm sure others would too.
We get to see her transform!? I thought Chibi Chibi just kinda poofed into her and that was it! (I haven't read the manga in a while). This is an awesome unexpected surprise! The only thing I wished was for it to be a little longer but still amazing!
Its just her staying static, a flash of light and the full costume appearing. Would have thought the ultimate most anticipated Sailor, and last transformation would get the most care. but this is as basic as it gets.

It should've been more piece by piece idc if it's a dress lets see the colours come out from the compact on her waist, lets see a back and forth angle shot of her heels materialising ending with the wings on the end, those rings could've come on her fingers similar to how the animate the gloves, do a 90s reference turning it into your own by having her raise her head her star symbol shine but not fully materialised, let her spin we see her hair clips and bun things appear all this happening with a nice head shot angle then we follow her head back down to have her star symbol give its last shine, she steps back wings raised high and boom finished. I have no end pose for this tho. OR Have a dark version of the cosmos as a background with multiple colour stars, have her spin (to clarify she has her wings out and a gradient shade for her body) while the stars come together forming the cosmos 8 pointed star symbol have her stop a few spaces away from it but the star is high in the sky, have an angle of shot behind the star giving the sense of looking down on cosmos, then follow the star as it travels to her forehead, when it lands let her turn her head slightly to the side getting her hair clips and bun things (similar to how we have it here when she smiles but without the smiling since we wouldn't see her mouth), she steps back she stretch her hand to grab something (we follow that hand) we see the rings form on her similar to how they animate the gloves and she grabs the background swing it around herself and fly up as her dress forms on her, revealing a bright version of the cosmos behind, she fly down but her bare feet didn't touch the ground instead we hear the sound and effect of something else hitting the ground, then her heels materialise (side view) , the camera angle turn in front and travels up her legs her wings come in front then she steps back (similar to ESM transformation in the eternal movies) but jump a little high, the wings flap or whatever you call the movement features obscures the view then clears end pose camera angle a little away but lowered her wings out her hands out in a low hug gesture with a slight smile on her face overall giving the impression of her descending from the cosmos to greet us warmly. What do you guys think?
Yeah it's kinda boring, in chibimoon, kakyuu and now cosmos' henshin, their clothes just appear in a flash after being gradient. No ribbons, no dynamic elements interaction or whatsoever going around..
@@celeurmouy I actually really like chibi moon transformation, I like the heart motif they went with her instead of giving her the same ribbon effect as usagi (lowkey not a fan of usagi and chibiusa matching all the time I prefer things that set them apart). I like the creativity and I also feel chibiusa's independence away from usagi, like she's making a name for herself, she's doing her own thing. I could understand why they made Kakyuu transformation short, it has a weird detail I don't like in it and I personally think the image of the flower spinning to reveal her bottom part of the outfit to be pointless since we see she get her entire outfit on when she did the hand gesture. We don't need to see a close up of her bottom wear its not like it's materialising on her. Cosmos definitely deserved better.

@@mlpseamare9622 Not really, a lot of people misinterpret what the manga said, miss information that was given throughout the arcs and miss certain details that help you understand things later on, hence the reason there's confusion but if you pay attention and read the information given carefully a lot of things will become clear.

It's the same person... As a person, Usagi = Sailor Cosmos. Their presence in the same time suggests that in the future Usagi / Sailor Moon will be reborn. In Arc 2, Venus didn't disappear under the yoke of time, because the Venus of future had already been reborn when her star seed was dropped into the Galactic Cauldron
I wish had done a more straightforward but beautiful and in the moment transformation for her. The best thing about this is because since it's in the moment it'll have more impactful and more meaningful than them doing a full on transformation like this. Also because it's in the moment it would be something we'll see for the first time in the movie itself instead of it being revealed in a short here.

そう言えば、昨日から宮崎駿監督の最新作『君はどう生きるか』の公開も迎えましたね。
ディズニーの実写版『リトルマーメイド』は『セーラームーンCosmos』と同日公開日でした。
老舗や有名処の映画公開と競う形となってしまい、Cosmosも大変だなとは思いましたが、楽しみにしていたので、これからも時間が許せば何とか応援して見たいです😊。だからなのかな？リピートもして欲しくて、こういう形でプロモを掛けたりしてる？とも思いますね。
個人的に、『君はどう生きるか』は公開中に見たいですね。実写版『リトルマーメイド』は、興味はあったものの結果的には観劇はしないかもしれません😢。何だか違うんだよね。観てもいませんから何とも言えませんけど、主人公のアリエルからして「これはありなのか？」と思ってしまって。まあストーリーから大幅にずれなければ、観に行っても良いかなとは当初は思っていたのですけど。アリエルに違和感を感じ、申し訳ないですが、観に行かれた他の方の感想を見てから見に行くか判断をしようと思って…。
原作がある物の映像化は、難しいところがあるなと、つくづく感じました。

Have a dark version of the cosmos as a background with multiple colour stars, have her spin (to clarify she has her wings out and a gradient shade for her body) while the stars come together forming the cosmos 8 pointed star symbol have her stop a few spaces away from it but the star is high in the sky, have an angle of shot behind the star giving the sense of looking down on cosmos, then follow the star as it travels to her forehead, when it lands let her turn her head slightly to the side getting her hair clips and bun things (similar to how we have it here when she smiles but without the smiling since we wouldn't see her mouth), she steps back she stretch her hand to grab something (we follow that hand) we see the rings form on her similar to how they animate the gloves and she grabs the background swing it around herself and fly up as her dress forms on her, revealing a bright version of the cosmos behind, she fly down but her bare feet didn't touch the ground instead we hear the sound and effect of something else hitting the ground, then her heels materialise (side view) , the camera angle turn in front and travels up her legs her wings come in front then she steps back (similar to ESM transformation in the eternal movies) but jump a little high, the wings flap or whatever you call the movement features obscures the view then clears end pose camera angle a little away but lowered her wings out her hands out in a low hug gesture with a slight smile on her face overall giving the impression of her descending from the cosmos to greet us warmly.

Yeah it's kinda boring, in chibimoon, kakyuu and now cosmos' henshin, their clothes just appear in a flash after being gradient. No ribbons, no dynamic elements interaction or whatsoever going around..
@@celeurmouy I actually really like chibi moon transformation, I like the heart motif they went with her instead of giving her the same ribbon effect as usagi (lowkey not a fan of usagi and chibiusa matching all the time I prefer things that set them apart). I like the creativity and I also feel chibiusa's independence away from usagi, like she's making a name for herself, she's doing her own thing. I could understand why they made Kakyuu transformation short, it has a weird detail I don't like in it and I personally think the image of the flower spinning to reveal her bottom part of the outfit to be pointless since we see she get her entire outfit on when she did the hand gesture. We don't need to see a close up of her bottom wear its not like it's materialising on her. Cosmos definitely deserved better.
Please, can't you just announce an international release? 😢😢😢

The way of the transformation is exactly like sailor moon herself transformations and the background in the End is moon not just that the creator herself confirmed that sailor cosmos is sailor moon future self when she said that chibi chibi is her future self so that mean sailor cosmos is sailor moon

@@mlpseamare9622 Not really, a lot of people misinterpret what the manga said, miss information that was given throughout the arcs and miss certain details that help you understand things later on, hence the reason there's confusion but if you pay attention and read the information given carefully a lot of things will become clear.

It's the same person... As a person, Usagi = Sailor Cosmos. Their presence in the same time suggests that in the future Usagi / Sailor Moon will be reborn. In Arc 2, Venus didn't disappear under the yoke of time, because the Venus of future had already been reborn when her star seed was dropped into the Galactic Cauldron

I might get a lot for saying this but I wish they didn't do a transformation for Cosmos and have the budget intended for all other scenes instead.😅
I wish had done a more straightforward but beautiful and in the moment transformation for her. The best thing about this is because since it's in the moment it'll have more impactful and more meaningful than them doing a full on transformation like this. Also because it's in the moment it would be something we'll see for the first time in the movie itself instead of it being revealed in a short here.
