In Hungary, the PAV test, or "Pályázati Állami Vizsga" (State Driving Exam), is a practical driving test that is a part of the process for obtaining a driving license. Here are the details regarding the PAV test in Hungary:
Pass/Fail Criteria: Candidates must obtain a certain standard of performance to pass the test. Minor errors may not lead to immediate failure, but serious mistakes (such as running a red light or endangering other road users) will likely result in a failing grade. Practice driving in various conditions and scenarios to become comfortable behind the wheel. Ensuring all lights and signals are operational.Performing an emergency stop.
      Reaction to unexpected road hazards.
Handling skids or loss of Traction driving at night.
Driving in adverse weather (rain, fog, snow).
Navigating in urban vs. rural settings. Communication and Use of Signals:
Assessment of how well the candidate uses indicators, hand signals, and conforms to traffic rules (e.g., yielding, stopping).
