So, when you're looking at the plexs in your probe scanner or overview, You'll See Scout Small Med Large .. NVY-1 or NVY-5 .. ADV-1 .. or ADV-5. that number dictates the number its geared for. a NVY-1 is meant to be solo .. or you'll get diminished payouts. Same goes for the NVY-5 .. its geared for up to 5 players. Battlefield-30 is for .. well .. 30 players.
That was patched out .
The tier system seems opposite of how Albion Online balances their faction warfare. Over there the main bonuses go to the sides that have the fewest enlisted members, to encourage balancing the team headcounts. Aside from that, rewards are highest when taking over territory that had been held by the enemy for the longest time, and less for immediately flipping back recently lost territory. Once territory is gained, small passive bonuses are awarded every few minutes to everyone who was involved in the takeover for as long as the territory remains theirs. From what this video covers, it sounds like joining the winning side in EVE Online is incentivized over siding with the underdogs.
Nice video mate :) Although you are a tyrannical, corporate Caldari, spreading the info about FW is a good thing to do. It really is fun and even profitable to some degree :) Doing offensive Medium+ PLEXes and BFs can get you a million LP relatively quickly, which you can then convert into a Dreadnought BPC and sell for around a billion isk.

2:02 Did the tiers get removed from the game? because i don't seem to get as many points as you do when you capture complexes
You'll get more LP per plex if you are in a Offensive vs a Defensive system, and again more or less LP's if you are in a frontline system vs command or rear guard system.
Offensive Frontline systems give the largest payout
