I test mine in snow the ko2 and as you say it’s okay but never tested really on ice road thanks for sharing
Awesome practical test! If I lived where this were a normal occurrence for sure I’d go with studs. But for where we live here in Puget Sound, these all-weather tires like KO2’s solve a lot of problems
Hey Rodney, I've been subscribed to your channel for a while. I just wanted to recommend the Bulletpoint rubigrid mount for the Tundra, so you can mount your cameras to it (filming while driving) versus holding. It's a great solid product.

I live in the SoCal mountains. So down the hill is dry. Up the hill is steep ice and snow during winter. I bought the ko2 for my 4x4 2500 and my gf the wild peaks. Comments on other videos made me feel like it’s a bad purchase.

Can you confirm if the non-TRD off-road 4wd trucks have Auto LSD when in 4H? There's some debate about this as the manual states that Auto LSD is only available on 2WD models, but the window stickers, brochures, and online state that the 4WD also has auto LSD.
Yes all 2022/2023 Tundra 4X4’s will have the Auto LSD.
@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews Are you sure? I ask because there is conflicting information regarding this. Is it active in 2wd and 4wd modes? Is there any limited slip action on the front differential?
@@coppertune9124 I’ve done some research on my end and everything I’ve read shows that all new 2022/2023 Tundra’s 4X4’s come standard with the Auto LSD feature.
I’ve tried to compare my TRD Off-Road to the other non Off-Road models that we have on the lot, and I can’t see any differences when it comes to the way LSD works.

Hey Rodney -- Have you heard of a bunch of Tunrdras going on QC hold before being delivered? Mine was just about that the final railyard before it was put in QC hold. I reached out to the dealership and they said all their Tundras are on hold. After looking at a couple forums, seems like a lot of people have had this issue in the last couple of days. Could it be to the cold weather and Christmas holiday or is there actually something wrong with the recent batches?
It’s not that uncommon for vehicles to have a quality control hold, but it is uncommon for a batch to all be held at once. Toyota normally closes down the last week of the year, so I’m wondering if that’s what’s going on. When they shut down it stops all transportation to the dealerships, from the port. I’ll be back in the office on Monday if you’d like to contact me then to check your Vin# to see if it’s actually on hold.

Especially riding on the highway I seen one video guy said he heard his Tundra doing it as well.
Any idea of which direction the noise is coming from?
The places I would start looking at first would be the window seals, and possibly cooled seats if you have them. It took me a while to figure out the whistling noise I was hearing was coming from my cooled seats. As soon as ai turned them off, the noise would go away.

Weird. My KO2s have noise from 25 MPH to 45 MPH, but not really outside of that. They're 265x70R17.

@@joshuaturen5023 Your TRD Pro in solar octane was built on the 23, but there isn’t any other updates at this time. In about 2 weeks, there will probably be another update if you’d like to check back with me.
