This is the most informative president I’ve ever seen
Don’t look back keep going your excellence
Conmanship is indeed an art and if u get a genius in the art, like it or not the conman will always shine and list of fools keeps growing
Jeremiah in the bible had Sanbalat and his friends who were snearing at his rebuilding of the broken walls of Jerusalem, saying foxes can topple the walls. You are that Sanbalat@@WangHuLee
Nice to engage with those that are on the payroll to post positive comments here 😂

This is the most honest president, he has admitted its hard to keep his promises but there's no way he will fall in the traps that Uhuru and Baba left behind.... Mr president keep on working smart Kenya will be Great

I love this president for free
I am glad they held this, because right now i beleive in this president more than ever, he knows what he is doing and even though we might not see it now, in future this government efforts will be finally realized.
Very true 🤲
I didn’t really know if I were gonna care about this interview🤷♂️. I somehow found this video few minutes after being posted and hit the link because I was kind of curious on how Kenya’s leadership approaches to Journalists (people’s representatives). I am indeed surprised and amazed by the transparency of Pr. Ruto & the Amazing journalists (six of them) indeed representing their peoples question. Regardless, if the leader during 15mon presidency had mistakes or not, the way he approached to them itself is extraordinary, wisdom and transformational.
God bless 🇰🇪🤞
These journalists need to do their research before coming for such a serious interview. Kudos Mr president. Kenya will never be the same again.
Kabisa wanaina ruto sio msomi
Did he conduct research?
Great leader
Some of you seem to overlook the fact that the current situation is a result of years of neglect. It's better to bite the bullet now than to default later.
He was deputy president for ten years
and in case you have forgotten,as deputy his responsibilities were delegated to one Matiangi a CS@@jamesowuor8804
TRUE but its also true his duties were delegated to a super CS Matiangi, hope you still remember@@jamesowuor8804
A wise sober leader with a plan the president know the kenyan and kenya situation more than this journalist. In president ruto I believe Nothing good come easy or get fixed in a second this Gentleman is God chosen
I agree with you Dr. Ruto President,
you dont know about this
The journalist should focus next time.we cannot compare Uganda and Tanzania with Kenya our expenses are way above..
It’s like comparing Kayole kenyan with Runda Kenyan..
Exactly man
Smart brilliant mind ,,, no pain no gain. We need to be more patient and presso change the country.people don't like change but we need to be transformed.
Huyu niyule anaeza sema ati nitakufinya sana lakini usipige kelele 😢😢😮
Kenyans you are crying for nothing. Whose president on this planet that can give you this time to ask him all these questions. Your president is a faithful and straightforward that why he gives you that chance to ask him what ever you need.
But will he give it?
Youre a mbuzi
Ruto, being very wise, uses media to manipulate people like you
It's nothing new in Kenya. Hopefully you saw the former president Uhuru holding these media roundtables since he ascended to the presidency in 2013. Including the one where he was questioned about the SGR contract. But maybe you don't pay attention.
and Raila failed to appear on presidential debate before election a good sign of bad manners and bad leadership@@panafrican.nation
The most brilliant one Kenya has had..
Great leader. Admiration from Ethiopia. Our leader building more than 15 billion palace while people are hard hit by Economic hardship ,inflation more than 30 %
²It's said; "You can never be a profet in your own country". President Ruto, I pray that you never get diselussioned. Kenya needs your leadership if it wants to deal with the coming challenges!
I like the way the president is saying I that is pure responsibilty
He is brilliant upstairs
Orengo had sounded this warning to Azimio, that president Ruto was politically smart upstairs and that was before elections but they ignored
This is one brilliant President who actually understands what he is doing wnd has a plan. Rome was not built in a day but from this interview, i am convinced that theres hope. Give Ruto time he will deliver!!!
No he isnt. Anatapatapa on issues. Listen to this interview after one week and you will see what I mean.
Kibaki the late asked president Ruto a minister then to stand and when he had stood asked the audience MNAMWONA HUYU ? They replied yes! he asked again and got same answer. @@josephkanyugi3799
Nyoro said it was the government' of the other year responsible
Stop being liars
Ruto kiboko
Good Job all the time nice decision it hard to Be understand Congratulation Mr presidentti Ruto, continue like that .
Compare to our DRC Congo uuu its horrible no vision.
The seriousness of this era keeps these leaders on edge. FEAR NOT PUSH THROUGH WITH THE POWER OF GOD
I support the presidents intentions of changing Kenya, I'll give him a chance, his enemies will never nor say anything good about him but even those countries which we keep on referring to as developed started from somewhere, hard decisions were made, it's didn't happen,,, that's way,,,, keep on Mr president, slowly many will understand you,
Let's your critics, enemies & devil's of progress continue preaching false against you, they have all been there but what did they do???????
I would say the askers tried alot...handling this guy on the pannel isnt easy....but sawa tu😅
you ask and he teaches you
i love the reverse narative they are not even informed its like they take news from x
At least they will one day tell their children ,that they once interviewed the president
Brave journalist with an open minded great leader
The panel had almost zero understanding of facts and kept asking the same questions repeatedly. This was painful to watch but the president was very patient and gracious in explaining over and over.
I appreciate the president for the well outlined interview on his way forward I find the interview to be very informative as far as the presidents responses are concerned.
As for the journalist I did notice a sense of discrimination (if I can call it that), on the Swahili speaking journalist especially whenever they’re trying to raise a question towards the president I saw instances where they talked over them, leaving a sort of “look down upon effect” on them and their questions.
From 255, Kenyans should all be proud of H.E Ruto, He is brilliant in defining situations and giving the solutions. Many will oppose Him because he stands for the truth and hoping to bring Kenyans together.
God bless you bro!
i may not agree on some areas but i must say the president is in touch with all the sectors of economy, secondly, he is one of the few African presidents who can invite journalists to ask him such hard questions. however, these journalists needed to do a good research before coming to handle President Ruto. He is too briliant for them
Sasa umereduce presidency to competing with journalists
Have you seen how they ask him questions without respect and fear, how can you ask yet he still responding the previous question.
Can William Samoei Ruto continue doing this Interview twice every year? It would demystify the presidency and open the government to the governed, show leaders are just ordinary fallible people and lead the electorate in their choices of leadership.
I believe that.,Hata njia ya kwenda Mbinguni sio Rahisi 🙏.. That's all i can say.
This guy is heading Kenya in the right direction
Really!
listen keenly and you will realize he understands@@jerrymcbride2230
Guys give Mr. president time to answer the question and i like him cause have realise most Kenyan have not travelled outside the country thats why they reason as they are, dont ask question on google about Tanzania go to Tanzania and you'll see the difference that do exist between the two nations, and see how other people are suffering as Kenyans we are better of cause have travelled in several countries and Kenya is better of, i know the economy will grow lets give william ruto time everything will be fine and okay
I admire this president..We don't have such right to ask our leaders in such a way in Ethiopia.
I think the works of Ruto will be understood after his time.
After life 🤔🤔🤔
when kibaki the late was vice president, we did not see much of his capabilities but when his term expired, we all realized it including Agwambo who was his greatest protagonist@@stephennyambane4192
Take it or leave it Mr. Ruto is my best President ever. Brilliant
Huyu msee ni msharp na that's why I love him and voted ❤😊
Lord of poverty puppet of the west
Evasive answers...
Will vote for him again and again 😊

Kenya you are blessed with amazing brilliant and lovely president not Nigeria that is ruling by drug lord 😢 Peter we need you sir
Next time go with figures we are collecting as tax, what is going to WASTE (and what has been wasted over the years - and if we ever get to recover those) and if we really need to increase tax
For allowing this interview to happen, kudos rais
The best president to be after after Mwai Kibaki

Kwani ni mungu
The future is very bright with this president. This is not the time to lose hope.
May God Bless President Ruto, Kenya is blessed to have you.
have some shame
Yes we are blessed🎉🎉🎉
Finally a president not bothered about a second term but the positive changes he is working hard to implement.
And you sincerely believe this?
Because he said so????
Kenya wajinga hawajaisha. Listening to Ruto speaking bullshit is tiring and reading comments from these illiterate people agreeing with the nothing ruto is saying is exhausting
even during election period, Atwoli said his name would not be on presidential ballot papersand his response was BORA UHAI. Elections are not a matter of death and life as some of his competitors take it to be.
Are you serious?aty his not bothered about second term😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂.....eiii...
They kept asking the same questions he's answered several times.. The US increased its interest rates simple he can't keep a promise on with the reality on the ground.. Simple
I appreciate your courage My president for how you have answered those Questions,us Kenya we have hope for a better tomorrow, congrats
❤it , President Ruto is man informed by economic policies and what it takes to be candid and true to our economic status
That is all true president ruto
Brilliant 👏 Mr president. I like the discussion on USD demand and kes dumping
Give Ruto time. All that I can honestly say for now🫡🫡
Time is now,,or never
Yes we should give Ruto time. The time does not belong to us and God created a lot of time so let us give it freely to our President.
I'm sure even the opposition leaders know ruto is trying to do the right thing nobody would dare . .
Ruto has been in the system and understands it well and its loopholes and now sorting it out. I think it was a good thing kenyans did electing him.
Bright President👍
I may not agree with him on some things he said on here, but on the part of privatization of state assets, surely- there's solid points he said-any sane person should be behind this move 💯
yeah because privatization will built competitiveness
24:25 Very true subsidies is just taking money from Kevin to pay back Paul, at the end of the day we still have to pay Kevin. I will admit Ruto is absolutely right there.
Your majesty sir
He is making governance look attractive
When Kenyans sit down and talk, it is a good thing. It all starts with a conversation like this…..it is a good start.
Liar why is he saying govt has nothing to do with fuel prices, then the next thing he says we need that tax to do so and so
It is very interesting to listen to this discusson from Trinidad which is a producer of natural gas and vastly declined supplies of petroleum. Removal of gas subsidies caused fuel hikes on 3 different occasions last year! Within recent weeks, the Prime Minister of this energy based economy explained to the population that it took them 9 YEARS to renegotiate the contractual terms with international investors in the energy sector to secure better $ returns in the face of declining petroleum reserves. A non-energy producing country does NOT have this option. He said that this country administered its own [supposedly bitter] medicine to avoid the alternative of borrowing from a global financial institution like the IMF. Is Kenya in a position to do this?
“ I work for the people of Kenya”. Like to hear that.
Genuine questions verses tricky answers 😂
journalist were biased before election favouring Raila candidature over Ruto s. They are yet to recover fully. In that case their questions are equally biased and non objective at all
I think as a country we are heading somewhere, Let's wait and to see his 2yrs in office......comparing Kenya, with UG & Tz u r comparing day & night
Sio mbali
The journalists were very soft on the questions. We need journalists with more in-depth knowledge.
What do you expect from githeri media
same journalism that place Raila ahead of president Ruto before election
1:53:00 🙂
Dr Ruto hi is the best present in east Africa.
I think Mr. President is true
Why dont you have one neutral interviewer or it was statehouse rush🤷🏽♂️
1:53:4 😂😂Uliam ni sawa
Fuel has dropped by 50% globally yet pump prices are still high! Yet he wants us to believe his tax policies aren’t influencing prices!
Noooo not 50% lets be real ...
Its because he took away the subsidy
in your computation, please have you considered dollar exchange rate?
Wow , i think mr president is very smart, he thinks like kibaki and he will make kenya great, one more vote from me
Next time Mr president Don't set your interview when an epl big game is going on.....imebidi nirudi the all interview again and what I can say you are the best debator
Best debater does not mean we get good value from the President.
exactly that what he is a master in the game of words
This president is an oratory powerhouse. He can speak his mind and you can see the sense in it. Sasa actions ndio the issue to see if it will match his rhetoric.
after this interview, it was reported that paybill collection rose to 960 million shillings in just one day. Dealing with corruption head on by centralizing government collections but again you cannot see any good and attempt in Dr. Ruto
I learnt alot from this interview. Ruto is indeed the best president for Kenya.
However, my concern is about his CSs, PSs, Directors, CEOs for different departments, ministries, parastatols, etc.
Him surrounded by politicians, some failures in politics but hold dockets, i dont see him achieving much. But time will, as i wish him all the best.
Next time let the president give journalists time to finish questions before shouting them down.
They are a mannerless journalist or either they were there on a mission.
He is not a good listen... it's one of the characteristics of a pathological layer
@@bettkipronocharles2919 they had legit question as the president he must show willingness to respond or at the very least listen. Ruto deflecting aalot of important issues by shouting journalists down
laying how many eggs a day?@@gilbob
hired journalists@@HardlyTalk
These guys are poor interviewers. Fighting for attention. 😅 Kindly next time have structured systems😢, what questions to ask, who to ask and when to ask .. youre just asking the same question 4 times different people.
The Sam guy is basically dominating the show, yet we have journalists from other platforms
Your 5 years tenure will give a clear direction
Clean office man knows backlog kills a plan
Nynyi Wakenya mnapaswa kujivunia rais huyu miliye naye kwa sababu, ni mzungumzaji mkubwa miongoni mwa wasomi wa Afrika mashariki. AsanteI
Yes Kenya is in the same category as Morocco and South Africa. The question our beloved president should ask himself or investigate further is one of value for the tax revenue in those countries as compared to Kenya. 70% of the tax revenue is misallocated, misappropriated or simply stolen hence leading to no value of the tax revenues
We have no control over the appreciation of the dollar. The dollar has been appreciating in 2023 due to the Federal Reserve in the USA raising interests rates making the dollar more ‘valuable.’
Bollox. Other countries (Uganda, Tanzania etc) are not experiencing the same free fall in their currencies.
And they all use the same dollar to make the same purchases
@@user-qu5lr6mh5byou have a simple minded understanding on fiscal and monetary issues. Have you ever asked why maize and beans reach maturity at different times despite the same climate. Don't make simplistic comparisons lest you sound lacking upstairs
PROPHETIC Team Members ; Fearless Preacher UK 🇬🇧 VERY correct. Mr President ; Economy BETTER ; my fellow
KENYA 🇰🇪 Where is KENYA 🇰🇪? OUR Economy IS growing, but people do not want to accept. ; FOR THE MOUTH 👄 OF THE LORD HAS Spoken NO OTHERWISE you🙏🏼❤️

The only way to kill inflation is through family planning and tree planting. Less people and more trees Kenyans... More trees equals more rain and more food
1:10:24 "They made tough decisions." 💯 We have to work hard and suffer for a better tomorrow.
🎉
Kenya mnarais bana
Surely, the economic policy changes in a country should be gradual , especially fiscal and monetary action through austerity measure to reduce the sudden negative impact on Kenyan citizens livelihood.
2:39:08 All questions answered honorably, just praying all he talks about comes to be.
How a competent journalist asks exactly how long an ailing economy should turn around is the reason why politicians feel cornerd to give timeframes that are unrealistic
I like what the laywer Ndegwa said Ruto is the only right person
Very good President Tuto. Improving in Agriculture, you improve in Foods stabilization. Only improve on the Kenya Money Value. We know where we were before, consult from the dairy of Late Kibaki yo enablr Kenyans yo know hod to work ipon this point. Because loofing thd money vslue, the inflation droped, and ptices raised up. How have we been intimitated on this point so as to loose this value snd the intimitaters climbs on their Coin?, did we allow them yo comd znd use our gtound fir advertising yhrir coin meanehile ours was being lowered down?
Once he nicely tackles a question all of a sudden they wanna rush ti the next question. Its not a competition, it's a debate yo 😅
Am happy for this presenters , they are brilliant and eloquent, they are killing Zakayo na maswali 😅😅😅😅
Mr president let the journalist finish the question first instead of jumping over.
I hope gatonye is listening tupatane kesho kameme fm very early with the indomitable team😊 for more elaboration😂 acha huyu jamaa aendelee kutundanganya tu😅
This man is informed n he has been in office fo a while knows where to tackle n get ride of those ones who are corrupt give him achance kenyans ,its a interesting interview
report indicates that the following day after this interview, the new government services paybill number 222222 received the highest collection of 960 million in one day
the price of maize has gone down from 180kshs here in homabay by last year june 2023 to 100 shillings in feb 2024 so economy is changing
Wee bwana since uingie there has been more blackouts than Kibaki and Uhuru administration combined..ukweli wakale na job ya stima hawawezani...
and the way kales are trying hard to run faster than lightning! Anyway we have also realized our lakeside brethren pia hawawezani na presidency
He answered this and said that the problem is that many new connections were done but there was no investment done to consumerate the transportation of this power to those that have been connected hence the blackouts due to overloads. And he has articulated what the government is doing. He talked of Korea. Listen keenly
@@georgesg5096 Not a satisfying answer. Do we have data proving a sharp rise in electricity consumption, at a time when investment is falling? It's fine though
