I love the idea of dwarves riding boars, things like horses are too tall for them, they need something as short, tough, stubborn and hairy as themselves.
I LOVE this song. I don't know why it pulls at me so hard, but it really does. It has some really wonderful energy to it. A combination of "come-at-me-bro" and "I Stand Here" energy. It PERFECTLY encapsulates Dwarven energy.
i can see this song being a battle cry for dwarves holding the line as other fall back. the dwarves refusing to give an inch even as far as rushing the enemy as cannon and dwarven rifle fire echo around the battle field. the other races looking back as the dwarves disappear into one last fray knowing the race was giving everything they had to by time for the others to live that much longer and win the war.
Listening to this I have a constant vision: "He is seeing his Brothers and Cousins drinking mead, laughing and telling stories of old. He shakes his head clearing his vision. Blood dripping from his brow. The demon is closing on him for the last blow, for he is the last of his kind. A thought shoots through his mind - I have to protect the younger races.
