Fun solves. I didnt do these but as soon as you said ZZ had to be followed by a vowel, I yelled "L". I saw "guzzler" immediatly and later "sizzler" as another option. Both went well with "huckleberry".
I don't do these much. I have sometimes enjoyed cryptoquotes but I see no benefit in having the words forged into a meaningless grid pattern. And you don't always have to use every letter in every quote.
