Her’s the thing... these girls work their behinds off to even make the team, and all of them want to showcase their talent and training, which under this particular captain, they are given little chance to do. Subpar counts thrown, weird pairings... when you throw the count to the four dancers on either side, your eyes have nowhere to go but the middle... captain🧐. It’s physically tiring to watch the team this year, and I’m far from the only one speaking out on it. These women deserve better than doing the same fieldshow all season. The comments are not bashing, just voicing disappointment as we know the potential is there, not being used. And with a deep closet of uniforms, why come out looking like they are ready to go to the gym?
I truly miss Gabby as captain. Her musicality and the ease she possesses to throw the counts are missing this year. Micah is a great dancer but I dont see it for her as a captain. The counts are cute but not effective. A little lackluster. Stingettes are putting everyone on notice and with a Captain like Janae you need to be ready to hit hard or go home.

But, I almost want to pinpoint the reason Dolls not having their moment yet this season (and somewhat last season) on Music Choices...don’t @ ttack me. Example - Tourist is a great song. And slapped really hard...in 2016 👀 The girls just need something to work with if we wanna see that umph🔥 we ALL know they have. Great job either way. And they all look amazing. Tourist is a great song, and look how that wash handled though? Singles on a song like Tourist is not the move to make. You've got 9 girls sitting there waiting to throw counts on an uptempo song, something SU refuses to do much of as late, instead of just dancing as one unit. Just look at ASU and Old Town Road. We all hate the song now but Janae has her girls work tf outta that song and the crowd loves it every time. It's honestly starting to highlight the major differences between their effectiveness as captains. Time and place means everything ^^

I am completely new to this so forgive me: - What I am seeing from the dolls this year is pretty consistent of past years. The dance movements are pretty much the same year after year. So what really is the issue with Micah? Is it because she doesn’t give the same the energy? - I also agree with with some other commenters. Southern’s music selection has been pretty mid tempo. Can you feel you feel it is really one of the only songs that sounded really distinctive.

Nah you're just hating. She serves the best balance between being energetic and sultry, without trying to over-milk the doll style like one of your faves. Micah looks GREAT upfront. The only other person who would have done the captain spot justice is Taneria and she's been injured so..
after a sort of rough start last year, by this time in the season gabby was killing shit. culminated by the swac championship which they SLAYED. i truly would've wanted her to get a chance to build on 2018 as a 2-year captain imo.

With all the shade Taneria and Micah threw Gabby’s way in stands last year, you’d think Micah would’ve done something worth talking about. Idk. She doesn’t scream CAPTAIN to me. I saw plenty of comments last year bashing Gabby’s leadership, which I honesty didn’t see a problem with Bc she absolutely SLAYED. But now I think people are being nice this season, but with this being the 50th, I expected way more and I’ve been bored since game one. Stands=boring, unis=boring, Micah=boring. I’m just bored. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

We are being punished this year for how the administration skipped mya in 2017 Micah gives me absolutely nothing but maya vibes!Gabby was SEASONED AND WOULD HAVE BEEN ON HER SHIT ! Her fieldshows alone was second to NONE and she was really owning them stands by the end of the season !For them to have made such a bold change like this and not have any tangible results goes to show you nobody thought about presentation this year by far the most boring season ever for the dolls the band definitely has a part to play to ITS NOT THE SAME !

I am completely new to this so forgive me:
- What I am seeing from the dolls this year is pretty consistent of past years. The dance movements are pretty much the same year after year. So what really is the issue with Micah? Is it because she doesn’t give the same the energy?
- I also agree with with some other commenters. Southern’s music selection has been pretty mid tempo. Can you feel you feel it is really one of the only songs that sounded really distinctive.

Im sorry, not really but yall love saying "The Dolls are so much more poised & classy" every time they get they ass ATE in a Match Up, like give it up already the stingettes ATE THEM UP! Had this been a Dannie , Jordan, or even Taneria in leadership maybe they would had a few meals themselves. yes they looked good but the Stingettes SERVED!!!!
