  • Happy Holidays everyone & welcome to vlogmas 2020!!!! I've been doing vlogmas for the past couple of years but this year is special to me because I am able to give back and support those that have supported me for so long by watching my videos. Giveaway details and full recipe is listed below.

    BLANCHED BOKCHOY
    ______________________________________________________________
    Ingredients: Bok Choy
    Directions: Place bok choy into a steamer OR boiling water for 3 minutes then prepare an ice bath( a bowl with water and ice) after the 3 minutes place the bok choy in the cold water to stop its cooking process.
    ROASTED BROCCOLINI
    ______________________________________________________________
    Ingredients: Broccolini, salt, pepper, cooking oil
    Directions: Blanch and shock the broccolini then turn your oven to broil and broil the broccolini for 7-10 minutes.
    TURKEY LAARB
    ______________________________________________________________
    Ingredients:
    - Ground Turkey (1 lbs)
    - Fish sauce (6 tbsp)
    - Limes (3-4)
    - Sugar ( 3-4 tablespoons)
    - Mint
    -Basil
    -Cilantro
    -Green Onions
    - Shallot (1 large)
    Directions
    1. Place ground turkey into the pan and cook it on medium high. Once it reaches halfway through cooking, squeeze 1 lime into the meat and cook until only a little bit of juice is left. Take it off the stove once its fully cooked.
    2. Thinly slice shallot and soak it in water to get rid of the harsh oniony smell and flavor.
    3. In a clean mixing bowl add in 6 tbsp of fish sauce, 3-4 tbsp of sugar and about 2 limes. Mix it up and adjust taste to your liking.
    4. Add the ground turkey into the fish sauce mixture and give it a good toss. Add in a few mint, basil, cilantro, green onions and the sliced shallot. Top with rice powder (optional) and enjoy
    SWEET ONION CHICKEN TERIYAKI

    Ingredients:
    - Chicken Breast (2)
    -Yellow Onion (1)
    -Soy Sauce
    -sugar
    -mirin
    -sesame oil
    Directions
    1. Thinly slice the onions into strips and place it in a pan on medium low. Wait for it to turn brown and toss. It's going to be a slow process so you can cut and prep the rest of the meal while waiting for the onions to caramelize.
    2. Let the onions turn color and then toss. You're going to do this about 10-12 times over a period of 30 minutes. It's a tedious process but caramelized onions are soooooo worth the wait.
    3. While the onions are doing its thing cut up the chicken breast into bite sized pieces.
    4. In a mixing bowl add in 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon of mirin, about 8 tablespoons of soy sauce and 4 tbsp of sugar. Mix and taste, adjust the seasoning to your liking.
    5. Pour the sauce into a sauce pan and let it reduce into a thick sauce. Keep an eye on it because it can burn easily. Cook it on a medium low temperature, it should take about 10-15 minutes to reduce.
    6. The onions are probably done at this point so take it out and use the same pan to cook the chicken but if the onions are not done just cook your chicken in a separate pan.
    7. It should take the chicken 10-12 minutes to cook all the way through. Once everything is cooked, toss it all together and enjoy
