Ok, I'll be honest - now I am becoming convinced it is doing that on purpose. That is the wildest way I've seen Alien behave in this Mission, which is notorious for Alien being extra vary of you traveling through vents and really quick on going into them after you, especially on Nightmare. So it just avoiding going after you into them even after it's seen you climb in one, only to pop out of the other side is just extremely wild and unorthodox And awesome. WHY CAN'T THAT HAPPEN TO ME!? I WANT WILD ALIEN BEHAVIOR STUFF LIKE THIS AS WELL!
@@dbf05 probably just feels embarrassed that someone's beating it by just avoiding it, without using any items or tools at all. Poor thing can't handle that
@@dbf05 I think at this point your best bet would be to ignore vents and try to sneak through the corridors and rooms in that area. Tricky, but there are some good hiding spots, and it will be all about proper timing

@ЯношБан oh the alien is determined that I don't get past this section. Yeah the alien normally follows me into the vent but not on this run.
