Why do car reviewers always film themselves driving the car. Boring! Show the car with voice over and better recorded sound. Do a pop up image of you talking if you like, but this formulaic video taping of a driving reviewer is lame. I would rather see you facing the camera and more engaged with us anyday.
+John Roberts Unfortunately we are always very tight on time when shooting on a car launch. This means we can only get so much external footage. Clearly the priority is to drive the car enough to give you guys a valid opinion. It is the same for everyone and that is probably why you see this format so often. It is a bit different when we get the car for its full road test because we have all week.

Joejoe W We did unfortunately. On a launch we are limited as to what we are given as the cars are pre production prototypes.
