Recently purchased my first Rec Tec. This will be my 2nd pellet smoker and decided to go with the BFG. It came in fast and now all that is left is setting her up, doing the burn in, then utilizing her! I decided I'd rather have more grill than I'll need than not have enough lol.
Man i love this grill!!!!! Missed out on that cyber monday deal 😢 but once I see it at that price again hopefully for there xmas deals, I'm sure going to have me a BFG!!!!
My only complaint… Not a fan of Phillips screws designed to torque something down. Ultimately end up stripping a few.. so aggravating. Heavy duty all around.. outstanding quality
Agreed. Phillips screws should be outlawed in todays age along with flathead. Any manufacturer caught using either should be put to death, but seriously torx should be on everything.
The just ordered 2, I’m scared of the second side self installment, truly needs a redesign Edit: massive fan, this is my only complaint apart from the exposed wires and wish the hopper had a clear out slot and a bottom cover
When are you guys going to start offering smaller grills built like this one with built in multiple racks - you guys would bring in more customers...…..also can you order a smaller version of the BT2500
