Quantum Leap (1989 - 1993): Former scientist Sam Beckett finds himself trapped in time due to an experiment gone awry, leaping into the body of a different person each week. Al Calavicci, at first known only as The Observer, is Sam's holographic adviser -- he provides Sam with some details about his new identity and gives him guidance on how to help the people affected by his presence. But with little memory to help guide him, our hero is forced to bluff his way through many a wacky situation.

Great scenes.
Did anyone else think this leaping animation seemed more realistic? Only one time I remember that they altered it to where it was like this but with the traditional leap beams but no electricity. It never looked that way again. It was on a rerun on NBC.
The leap with electricity (the one that gives QL its signature identity) began once season 1 was over.
Decades ago they made some good shows.
It's called double identity! From what I read it could've been a Easter egg to dean Stockwell movie married to the mob ! if you are gonna post about the episode it be nice if you gave the actual name of episode .instead of Sam leaping into a Mafia guy .
