You can do it!! If you’ve never rhinestoned before I’d recommend starting with a pen 😊 they’re a quick project and if you mess up, you haven’t wasted many materials 💕 ruclips.net/video/-gMrCWwusqQ/видео.html
Nice. I have a garden hat and many ofvthe stones have come off. Obviously bad job/purchase, but now I know how to repair my fav hat. How could I go about putting a name on a hat? For example, `ANGEL' in blue on the brim of the hat you just completed surrounded by the other stones? Thanks
Whenever I rhinestone a name, I create a vinyl decal of the name first to act as a guide for my stones. I do that with my cricut machine, but you can also order custom vinyl decals if you don’t have a machine. For the brim of a hat, I would use heat transfer vinyl that you can iron on so that it won’t peel off like regular vinyl would. Then I would do the blue rhinestones on the ANGEL text, and surround it with small rhinestones of another colour and work my way out, making sure to also do the outline of the hat brim prior to filling in all the rest of the space, like I did in this video. This tutorial shows how I rhinestone a name and surround it with another color of stones: ruclips.net/video/X3zVfJi4ktk/видео.htmlsi=eaarxKVYPvXHQ1GW And this is a tutorial for iron on vinyl, I used glitter in this video, but I would not use a glitter one if you were going to rhinestone over top, I would just use a regular heat transfer vinyl. But the process is the same! ruclips.net/video/ci_horOsBD4/видео.htmlsi=pOLrNuWr9gt_6uRT
thanks great video well produced, i like your style very complete tutorial, nice the effort of mentioning the fine details, you realy enable your audience to develop a skill. And all that with such a bright and positive vibe, compliments in capital diamond letters embedded in pure gold.🌟
Usually I buy too many and just have a ton leftover lol. Sometimes I’ll look at other projects I have with the same size of stone I plan to use and kind of figure out based on the size/area of the project approximately how many I’ll need! Usually I can find a use for my leftover stones though, I’d rather buy too many than too few 😊

Lots of craft supplies, especially adhesives, come with some risk when you use them, but as long as they’re handled correctly it’s not an issue! I mostly give that disclaimer so nobody yells at me for not giving the disclaimer lol. For most of my projects I use a glue called GemTac which is non toxic, so I don’t use E6000 often. But depending on the project and the material it’s made of, sometimes it’s just the best option for the adhesion I need. I just make sure I use it in a well ventilated area and keep it off my skin! Oh and definitely don’t eat it.

How long does it generally take to finish hat brim?
Depends on the size of stones you’re using and the size of the brim, this probably took me a couple of hours!
How do you know what mm of the crystals to use? The ones on Temu go up to 6mm. Thanks!
You can use any size you want, but I used SS20 in this video which is 5mm! 😊
@@ElizabethSparkles Thanks so much for such a quick reply!

How do you determine how many stones you'll need?

If the glue is toxic and harmful why risk using it? Is there another option? 🤔
