Me too! Although a male, there are those of us who too are abused by women, yet is rarely talked about. In large part, because many men would be too embarrassed to let their peers know about their own wives or GF's abusing them. This is 2024, not 1776, and there's no place in this day & age for domestic abuse under any circumstances! Call the police, or if necessary & have the time to safely do so, plan the escape & get as far away as possible. There's abuse shelters & resources everywhere these days.❤❤❤❤❤

I'm glad you enjoyed the story! It's heartbreaking how many people suffer in silence, and Paula's determination to stand up for what's right despite her own challenges is truly admirable.

He WAS just like his dad, as he had slapped Paula more than once before rescuing his mother!😡😠🤬 Only that event made him aware that Inrique was doing wrong, plus the woman was his mother.

I love this story too, but it doesn't change what the restaurant owner did to Paula, prior to saving his mother. Paula is an admirable woman, worthy of any man of whom she chooses (freely) to spend her life with. I'd have her w/out a second thought!❤❤❤

Looked like the US, maybe New York or some other large city with a diverse population. I say this because Paula's friend at her workplace was an illegal, likely working for cash. This still goes on in the US (unfortunately) & due to their issue, they're often not paid as well as their legal colleagues.

SO MANY OF US...had in one way or. An other experience home violence...I this viewer we see this case in a way of defending herself from the years of abuse and took courage by divorsing her abuser..even if it was a little too late...but she did it...amen...EK."LORD JESUS HAVE MERCY.....EK.

Why does those who tries to speak English the best they can get trashed like this?🥵 Those who usually does this often don't type perfectly themselves, like leaving too long a space between words, it's only one, not two!😡😠🤬
