Why shouldn't he have? Because the detective's report said so? We don't know why the fight started, what happened during the fight or if the defendant was in fear for his life. And he is innocent until proven guilty.
I like Judge Fink and I think she's usually rational. But when it comes to firearms, she is absolutely biased. Having an opinion is her right and I respect that. However, bringing a personal opinion to work when you're a judge and using that opinion to make statements, assumptions and decisions about a constitutionally protected activity (owning a firearm) is not okay. Her job has the power to take away a person's freedom. In that case, your opinions should stay home if they are a contradiction to the constitution. Just my two cents.

26:34 this is where I agree with the judge, when you choose to walk around with guns, and I don’t care if people have guns overall, I go to a gun range, so this is not an anti-weapon remark. But when you think you’re protecting yourself, and maybe you misread a situation. Because of this idea, then I’m going to protect myself, I wonder if they are at times, self prophetizing in the need to have it. Murders, road rage, and aggressively “protecting one’s self” from unarmed people seem to be the way a lot of people die or get shot by legal gun owners. I don’t know if it’s a Mindset or a culture thing, but we are way too OK with killing people

People rip them for it, but I enjoyed it when I was going to a PF (it's all I could afford for a gym membership at the time). People eat pizzas, even fit people. Having a slice of pizza at your gym isn't going to be a problem if you are already conscientious about your caloric intake. If you aren't conscientious and aren't tracking calories at all, then it already doesn't matter. It's a non-issue.

To be fair I know people with bipolar disorder who will have manic episodes and turn into kleptomaniacs, they never steal otherwise but in an episode it’s an impulsive almost psychotic thing. But that also points to very poorly managed or untreated mania, and unless you’re actually in a state of psychosis you’re still responsible for yourself and as an adult you’re responsible to seek treatment for your mental health issues. So I could maybe believe she did this in a manic state and would deserve leniency if she took some accountability, it’s kind of a moot point right now, especially if she’s also on meth. Hopefully thru probation she’ll find a treatment plan that works for her.

If it’s self defense, He needs to get lawyer and sit down with DA/police to tell his story. Or wait until trial and tell it.

12:40 you are 100 percent correct. I've been going to Fitness almost 2 years now. . This is actually the business model. the classic membership is only 10 bucks a month but you can only go to the gym that you normally go to you can't go anywhere else and it the rest of it is very limited but if you only have one gym near you then it's worth its weight in gold the problem is is that after every every Christmas there's always an influx of people. Because in January a lot of people are doing New Year's resolutions so they join the gym. because 2/3 of the country is overweight. also some people get Planet Fitness memberships for a Christmas present and so they go for a couple months and then by March it's all emptied out with all of the Christmas / resolution folks. But it's too much trouble to cancel because in case you ever wanted to go back it they figured hey it's only 10 bucks a month you're paying so they keep the membership. Make no mistake. because this business model Planet Fitness is a gold mine. The PF card is only 25 bucks and it's also worth very much. Planet Fitness has changed my life. and I know that it is a sneaky business model but it's brilliant. Plays on people who are mostly overweight in this country

Punished for what, exactly? Correctly using the charging information to determine his bond? Expressing that, if true, the allegations are outrageous?

@@CanadaMatt she’s going off the assumption that he’s guilty just because he shot someone… at least that’s what she verbalized. Maybe the charging documents show reason for a huge cash bond… but the way she described her decision is that nobody should use a firearm, and if you do, you should be punished regardless of the reason… just because there has been lots of violence in the city/county.

@@Kaleena43I certainly am no expert on the laws regarding Bond in Michigan, but I believe that they are supposed to base the bond decision at least in part on a presumption that the facts alleged are accurate, without assuming the defendant is the one who did it. I just want to stand up for her -- I have had face sores from bad earaches. The puss that leaks out is foul and can pock the skin around your ears, but not really ALL over your face.
I frequently suffer from earaches - it's total hell. When I have really bad drainage, I'll get sores on my earlobe, chin, and neck. Any time I get a sinus infection, I'll get an earache, and that earache then turns into a huge problem. I've always had issues with this since I was a kid. It's better now because at least it doesn't infect my hair follicles anymore like it did when I was itty bitty.
But for real - you can break out from ear infections if they are severe enough, but *NOT* all over your face. It's localized unless you're washing your face with the leakage.... which...omfg ew...
