GT Is a simulator. burnout is an over the top arcade racer. they're both good but you can't compare them, they're marketed at completely different people.
I like All My Life, Place in This World, and EDGE OF THE WORLD 2012 Asia championship mix more than this and 5OUL ON D!SPLAY.... But I still like 'em ;)

It taught me to be careful of lift throttle oversteer in mr2's, which might have saved my real Mr2.. After trying out my buddies Elise, I tried one in gt5, and was surprised at how well they'd captured it's "feel"... Several vids here on youtube, where gt5 matches up to real life almost perfectly....

I know GT5 may fall short on some part of a cars physics but knowing the potential of Polyphony Digital and there games its only a matter of time before GT5 can get on par with iRacing or Live for speed. Maybe not on Gt5 but soon on GT6
I never said I didn't like it. I play it regularly, I just find it annoying when a game claims to be a sim, and it isn't. You'd be pissed if you bought a gun that claimed to be real, and turned out to be an airsoft replica...Same applies here.
Mhh sometimes i think about selling my ps3 and getting forza(because of modding). gt went booring so fast..I mean its good for some basics if you know nothing about racing but in gt5 you could do 500 laps on Nürburgring without one crash if you go fast without trying to get 1sec faster every lap, but in reality there are factors like dirt, dust, unluck, no enough experience to much risk what could cost you a car you put all your money and time in or your life WITHOUT any retry

Not overly, when I can run in a Touring Car upgraded Civic, that handles worse than the car I actually run in real racing events, and that's just a stripped out Civic EK, with racing spec suspension modifications. GT5 really is not a sim, and they need to take "The real driving simulator" off the box

I've driven plenty of sports cars (Rx7, Mr2, corvette, Mx5, 911, lotus elise etc..), on tracks and on twisty back roads. And while Gt5 is by no means a perfect, it does do a pretty good job of modeling most of it's cars dynamics in a realistic fashion.
