I missed this interview. I myself am disabled, although I've had my disability since birth. I am on crutches (I have Cerebral Palsy) and am also from Wisconsin. I am soo glad they cast a disabled actress for the role of Nessa Rose in Wicked. I loved her in the movie
She believes in her abilities more than anybody else. She knew she would be okay. And in that moment was the odd one out, not her sister. Roles reversed- she was scared to be seen as different. That was my take.
I didn’t like her in the movie, it was the only actor I would have changed. However, now that I’m learning that she is actually disabled, I feel guilty for having felt that way.
She’s upset about how she was treated on the show with her disability. I mean she obviously knew what was gonna happen if she watched the musical or read the script. For her to come and production and her coworkers for making her feel uncomfortable and how she didn’t like how she was portrayed. I’m sorry but on the musical that’s exactly what happened. They didn’t stray to far much away to make her character an afterthought. Just recast her because she’s kinda being ungrateful. I’m sorry and understand bit you know what you’re signing up for.

💚💚🖤🖤💚
Boq and Nessarose are actually a cute couple, even though I know what happens!
Am I crazy or does she look a bit like Jenna Ortega?
Yes
Why does Elphaba respond with "what" when told to go with her sister? Hasn't she always looked after her sister?
Because she initially wasn’t supposed to stay with her the full time, only to get her there. So she’s confused at the change of plans :)

You have a lot of self improving left to do.

What are you on about
Isn’t she praising the movie and cast?
Did we watch the same video? 😅
She has literally been praising production, cast, and the writers for treating her and the character so good?
