If someone like Major Vivek would have come and told me this when I was a bit young and unaware of how to face SSB. I should have never extended my relationship with those classes if I knew that my personality would get mutilated by what the trainer told me to say versus what I really wanted to say. Maybe even after speaking the truth, if they didn't select me, I would have been happier rather than trying to con my way into the system based on the skewered PERCEPTION I was sold to while on those classes. Missing that chance to rectify still haunts me every time I recollect them. That truth is what matters not the fack mask of heroism that one portrays during the psychological tests.

Then try to explain and help those who don't know this thing will increase your confidence level.... If find some bad habits inner yourself... Then try to overcome that bad habits on you... We can take an example: nowadays, our generation is totally spoiled then try to make difference in them and in you and see your habits are good or bad... For confidence first we need lead your class if anyone not agree with you then don't listen there bad things if they are trying to low your confidence then encourage yourself because you got confidence when you find good things in your. First if you are trying to neglect bad things first try good things first try good things bad vibes or things automatically gonna away from your.
Don't prepare for the psych test. When u see a picture you will automatically connect it with your life experiences. Same for wat,srt. They will connect your thoughts with what you do in the group tasks and what u tell in the interview. If you show the real you all of it will be in sync. And it won't match if u fake it

I respect major Jacob, but i have attended SSBs. I have seen many stories getting through bcz of just being positive. Those stories are the most absurd thing you will ever hear,still they let them through. Don't abt other centres but it's true for SSB allahabd.

Every competition , Every athlete etc.. requires coach so that you can prepare for what is required there. You are definitely going to get rejected if you don't no what it is. Rather than writing dozens of stories and thinking it will make wonders. It may be helpful in time management. And i agree that preparing doesn't mean faking. But one should not prepare in such a way to beat the system, and that's exactly what he wants to say.

Playing good cricket is a part of voluntary reflex and you can train it and perfect it. But in SSB they wanna know your true side or how would you naturally react to situations. It's totally involuntary and you have absolutely no or maybe a little amount of control over it and that won't help you. It's something you can only train by changing your lifestyle, your thoughts, the way you see things and etc. and that is something you can't learn in a month or two.
So Basically SSB is ETHICS interview of Government in which they test , whether their employee can revolt / Mutiny against them in any situation or not ? As both IAS & Military is important tools of government & Government do not want them to Side with public as happened in few Dictatorship regimes, where military & administration sided with common people
