Hello Friends, if you don't know who I am, here's a little more about me.
My name is Brice.
I was born in Rennes, France.
After graduating from film school in 2003, I moved to Paris, starting a career in the film industry.
One of my first assignment was assistant editor on an animal documentary. Presented by Warner Independent Pictures and National Geographic Feature Films, "March of the Penguins" became a box office hit and Oscar winning documentary touching the hearts of audiences around the globe.
My time spent in Paris was shared between his film editing and my love of photography.
In 2009 I decided to follow my long sought after dream and moved to Canada.
My passion for photography soon became an obvious career and, whether it is for portraits at my Vancouver studio, or for larger commercial jobs on location, all around the world, I am now happy and proud to devote all of my time and energy doing what I love most. Photographing/filming athletes for running brands and magazines, and capturing my adventures for outdoors brands.
When I am not photographing big commercial projects, I also work on personal projects like "Studio to Trails". Which has been widely popular in North America amongst the trail running community.
My client list includes: Salomon, TED, New Balance, Asics, AirBnb, Canadian Running Magazine, British Columbia Magazine, Trail Runner Magazine, and Nayara Resorts, Relais Chateaux.
Running up and down a ski hill sounds like a blast!
It's fun, but surprisingly, not as fun as hurling yourself down technical terrain. :)
👌 sound design. Beautiful video. 👏
Thanks Matt!
Editing skills are insane!
Thank you Maurizio!
Nice video! Yeah, I have the same question as Couch to the Summit. Actually, another good option is a hike/run from the parking up to First Peak (or at least to Brockton) then down and to/from the Dog Mnt. Clearly marked and maintained hiking/snowshoe trails. First + Dog is around 11.5k with a good 580m elev. And don't miss the enjoyment of hiking up on the face of First rather than going around :)
These are all great options indeed. Thank you for your input. I appreciate your feedback a lot.
Beautiful!
Thank you Susan!
Who else enjoys running in the snow as much as we do over here in Vancouver with the Salomon Team?
Hey Brice, nice visuals, thanks for the video. I'm assuming you had permission to run on the resort's groomed trails? Maybe a disclaimer is needed saying that is not actually allowed for trail runners to run on them?
Yes, we did. But you are correct, I am going to be mindful of this and add a disclaimer on the video if/when I put up another one of these. Thankfully the people who work at the resort are also great at letting us know where we should or should not be running. Thank you for your input.
That's really good feedback Couch to the Summit!
Came here to comment on something similar. Most groomed trails don't really fancy anyone other than skiers on the trails. I'd feel like I'm violating sacred space running on a surface such as this.
@@andrewembree It's free frozen water that falls from the sky that is goomed a couple of times a day. And we ran on a very tiny little part of it. It not like I drove my Jeep across the resort. Let's not get carried away here though. No one is violating anything here :)
