Johnny Wright is a legend and how awesome he is..backup is great..The rhythem and melody is phenomenal..great band ..What a tribute to America..Johnny Wright was born to sing and leave his legacy ..never forgotten..RIP Johnny
I have a special love for Johnny Paycheck records from the '60s. I do believe his time in George Jones band influenced how Jones sang. Early Jones sounds like he's aping Hank.
Dad had/has a cassette with several of these songs on it. I made it into a CD for him several years ago because the tape was getting worn out after the 40+ years he had it.
She's gone gone gone lyrics: She said if ever deceived her She'd be gone before I could count ten I guess that I didn't believe her 'Cause look at the trouble I'm in She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone Crying won't bring her back The more that I cry the faster that train Flies farther on down the track I've lost every right to be happy When I lost the heaven I found She warned me she'd leave and she left me Before my first tear hit the ground She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone Crying won't bring her back The more that I cry the faster that train Flies farther on down the track If I only knew where to find her I'd crawl there on my hands and knees Each tick of the clock's a reminder She's one second farther from me She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone Crying won't bring her back The more that I cry the faster that train Flies farther on down the track
HELLO VIETNAM. When I first heard this song, I was watching FULL METAT JACKET. I was a kid in the 80s. I have always support our ARMED FORCES, I never brought into that Hippie (ANTI AMERICAN/ANTI MILITARY) mentality. I never understood why Hippies hated OUR ARMED FORCES. Now Liberals and Progressives hate our ARMED FORCES. Back then it was a song against the Soviets. Now it has a whole new meaning, not its a song against WORLDWIDE ELITE SOCIALISM. Hippies, Liberals, and Progressives have hijack the Democrat part for 60 years. Democracy is falling apart in the U.S. and in its allies. The fires that bigger burn was always inside the U.S.. The fires that were started by Hippies, Liberals, and Progressives were in the name of SOCIALISM. Is there hope that those fires will be put out? I hope so. To those that fought in VEITNAM and all the wars thereafter. THANK YOU.
The song Hello Vietnam is on spotify on compilations. But that's about it for his solo recordings on spotify (there are loads of Johnnie and Jack). Decca (now UMG) are terrible at putting up old recordings on spotify. Makes you think they may have lost them (sarcastic hint)!

You are not alone on earth !
Full Metal Jacket brought me here.

Nate,you are a good son.
He and his family were pillars in the community of Madison Tenn.
Tom T. Hall wrote many great Country and Western songs. Like this one. Rest easy, Tom.
Love that song as my Ronnie serve in the Vietnam 🇻🇳 👌
Outstanding album!
This is a beautiful song..I hear Kitty Wells along side of Johnny ..There's nothing like this legendary song and its phenomenal..R U With Me?
You will hear Kitty a lot on his solo recordings. She probably went with him to his recording sessions.
The Queen of Country Music
I'll bet Kitty worked for free on Johnny's records, then went home and cooked dinner. And that's not a put down.
(dmetl) #259 - one of the best late 60s country albums I ever heard
Great song and singers.
Soldier's Last Letter is sad
Hello Full Metal Jacket!
Man I would never thought of this song again, But i definitely remember it.
So sad they don’t make music like this anymore, sure missed those days"
Kitty Wells harmony ✌️
I do to and I think I am the only one that listens to him as well
Hello Viet Nam by Johnny Wright
Country harmony is the best !
Exactly. !!!!
Johnny & Kitty
George & Tammy
Conway & Loretta
Their harmony sounds like a steel guitar. It's the stuff that gives me goosebumps.
Real shit kickin' music !😉
Some of the best movies quotes. You got girl friend in Vietnam? Me love you long time.
Thank you from Brazil
She's gone gone gone lyrics:
She said if ever deceived her
She'd be gone before I could count ten
I guess that I didn't believe her
'Cause look at the trouble I'm in
She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Crying won't bring her back
The more that I cry the faster that train
Flies farther on down the track
I've lost every right to be happy
When I lost the heaven I found
She warned me she'd leave and she left me
Before my first tear hit the ground
She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Crying won't bring her back
The more that I cry the faster that train
Flies farther on down the track
If I only knew where to find her
I'd crawl there on my hands and knees
Each tick of the clock's a reminder
She's one second farther from me
She's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Crying won't bring her back
The more that I cry the faster that train
Flies farther on down the track
Written by Harlan Howard for Lefty Frizzell.
Джонни они на деревьях :)
Him and Eddie Noack’s voices sound eerily similar. Both incredible.
And Kris Kristofferson I always thought Kris Kristofferson was singing this
old country is so different from the new stuff.
This lyrics are great.
