This last album for me is like a 360 moment. Like, “ what the fuck made me get into her in the first place?” Fossora makes me understand what I liked about her in 1994. Also what kept me “loyal”. She always went into unknown territory and held it up to you like….” You need to listen…you’re not getting this!” I always loved how she makes me discover something new no matter how long she’s been around. Def one of our “living legends”.
I belive it was during the Vespertine press tour when Björk pointed out that she felt that the artists she listens too or non musicians artist, authors etc best work was done when they where in the age of 50-60. And she said that she still thought she would not be an exception. And I am ready to agree with her. It might never be another mainstream album, but the producing, the arrangements, the mastering and mixing. Bringing in all the skills from previous albums - she is just getting better and better. And this i believe is because she is punk, she is from the punk scene and simply do not give a f!%"ck about genres and rules.
I can see she definitely likes to mirror those around her, and she resided in the uk for a good portion of her later life, so I bet it seemed more fun to just embrace their dialect to blend in better.
Bjork talks as if we were all cosy and loved up in Lockdowns. Anyone who had their loved ones around them was very lucky. Some of us were on our own, with loved ones far away. I didn't see my son for 11 months. Never been so lonely in my life and only just made it through. But that aside, I do love Bjork.

I just bought fassora it was like fine wine. Now I'm going to listen to it with headphones. It is on vinyl@
she's affecting a British accent here much more than when she was younger. I haven't been following her as much the past 15 years or so
