cry every fucking time at this. my favorite finale. such a perfect way to start the show in new territory. beautiful song and mary louise parker is one of those actors who says a thousand words in a look. love this
The combination of this scene and this song is a prime example of the beautiful thought and artistry that has gone into making this wonderful show. Despite changes and adjustments in following seasons, I think any person who has lived through hardship can identify with the characters and in particular, this scene. Well done Ms. Kohan..Keep Weeds alive! I don't know what I will do when it all ends.
It’s like you have to check in with the Botwins every year… I’ve seen every episode probably 20 times by now, because I’ve definitely watched it from beginning to end and then started again. This show was perfect.
I think Nancy was really talking to herself when she says "Judah, if you're still here, I tried." I've seen the show so many times and Nancy knows deep down she caused all of her own problems
amazing my favorite band in the world. from my hometown. playing on the greatest show in the world. the song gives me the chills when i here it. it fits the episode perfectly. could not be more impressed
I bet when Jenji Kohan came up with the story of weeds this is where it ended. At least, I know this is where it ended in my head. The rest of the seasons were pretty damn good, but seasons 1-3 were just perfect. I understand why they kept making them, but I'll always be grateful for the way they tied up S1-S3 so perfectly with this ending!
J Munoz Chronic Yeah if I had to rate them: 1. S1: 9/10 2. S2: 10/10 3. S3: 9.5/10 4. S4: 8.5/10 5. S5: 8.5/10 6. S6: 8.5/10 7. S7: 8/10 8. S8: 7.5/10 I always enjoyed this show, just more when it was set in the suburbs.
This scene is so sad when you’ve already watched the entire series. It’s almost real cause you get to see Shane and Silas grow up, and how in the end, she realized the damage was done and she was alone.. so sad, but it was hard to feel bad for her after season 1.
Season 6 finale will always be my fav, I just remember my jaw hitting the ground. Weeds may have jumped around in quality, but their season finales always kicked ass.
@joyt54 hmm your'e right. Maybe there he means the guy is sick or his life is terrible and he needs help to do everything. Then he ends is life happily in a kind of bittersweet way. Or something like that. learning it on guitar. pretty awesome.
This show, past season three, fell into the trap Scrubs did. They lost sight of the difference between witty and silly. Moments like the one in this video make the series memorable and poignant. Andy and Doug should make the show witty... and for the first three seasons, they kinda did. In season 4 and 5 those elements became silly and they abandoned moments like this one for "epic drama." It's a shame but I haven't given up on Weeds yet.

Trevor Tower couldn't agree with you more !

Dammit man, I'm a doctor! Now tell me why!!
Yes how did u find this out , this part has been one of the most intense feelings a show has ever given me
As much as I love the season endings of Shane killing Pilar and Nancy being busted by the FBI, this season finale was truly brilliant.
The only time when I would giggle at a house burning down. 🤭
Another exaple that this amazing show is not just about drugs, but something more.
So true! I learned so much from this show
I LOVE THIS SCENE 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Season 6 finale will always be my fav, I just remember my jaw hitting the ground. Weeds may have jumped around in quality, but their season finales always kicked ass.
awesome scene and the song is so fucking good!!
Some things are better left unsaid
🍁
you guys I can't believe it's over.
Peacock ruined this scene by changing the song.
Yeah I just found that when I looked this scene up why the hell would they do that? This song made the season ending
Best weeds season finale
I kind of like all the drama with Esteban and the Mexican Mafia, I'm glad the show is still going
@joyt54 hmm your'e right. Maybe there he means the guy is sick or his life is terrible and he needs help to do everything. Then he ends is life happily in a kind of bittersweet way. Or something like that. learning it on guitar. pretty awesome.
agreed.

that's the point
Lol I don't even care about the show, I'm just confused of why State Radio is in this
Cool song, that's why
Fuck the show, I came here to listen to State Radio.
Lol yep that's the spirit
@@KosherPorky so glad this thread started 10 years ago.
@joyt54 I think hes talking about suicide and all the people who will do stuff for him when hes gone.
tabune
they shud of ended it here
Anything w/ cilia oats was just awful, the show only got really good when they started running from the Mexican Mafia.
My favorite scene from Weeds
One of my favorite scenes in television!
