I would not be surprised if Will has been abusive toward Jada which is why Sheree left him. Also I am sure that Jada has a close relationship with her mother, but it seems that mom is staying a bit closer than normal , and that usually happens when mothers child is suffering abuse , and everyone is keeping it secret for Will and Jada's sake since they are staying together.
