Drepung Loseling Mundgod/ Drago Mitsen Geshe Graduates / Khada Offering Ceremony / Congratulations

On 8th Feb 2021 there were 11 Monks from Drago Mitsen Drepung loseling monastery got graduated as Geshe. We went there to offer Khada (Tibetan scarf symbolize well wishes) to all of them. Congratulations to all of them.
Geshe Degree for monk is like a Ph.D in Tibetan Buddhism, it is the second highest Degree for the monks, and after Gheshe Degree there is one more Degree : Geshe Lharam.

Mitsen its part within Tehor.. Like Drago, tawo, Beri, Dhargye, like that.. All are part of Tehor khangtsen..
