Thanks for talking about Mercurial Alex! Though I just want to mention that the $ values you mentioned are in SGD, not USD 😅 So the SGD$60 entry price for Mercurial would've been about USD$44 and so on. No biggy though 😄
So just an fyi: Dead by daylight isn’t a zombie game. It’s a “asymmetrical survival horror game”. Basically there are 4 survivors per match and 1 killer. Killer is trying to kill the survivors by placing them on hooks, survivors are trying to complete 5 generators to unlock exit gates and leave. Where I think you may be getting the mix up from is the previously announced Dying Light board game. Now that one is a zombie game, but no KS date announced just yet.
Dammit I thought it was $20 for the complete set of minis in Casting Shadows. Well that's enough for me to pass then. I already have Teen Titans Go! coming for an accessible skirmish game with cute art. Appreciate you clearing these things up Alex!
42:41 The $50 pledge from Unstable Unicorns Control & Chaos sells for $200+. Ramy has done a good job of really keeping KS exclusives valuable by not re-printing or re-issuing old product.
Yeah we are still trying to hunt down the KS things for Here to Slay since none of them have gone to retail. It's the reason we have to go in for this one. Still debating on acrylic standees, think the vinyl figures are a little steep as an add-on later and seem like it's forcing you into the all-in pledge.
@@GettinJiggly Whew, it's a lot of $! I have the vinyl figures they sell on their site for Unstable Unicorns at $10/pop (when no sale going on). I like them quite a bit.

Well, with Okko Chronicles: Earth Cycle, this dungeon crawler is different from all the other dungeon crawlers in that it is not a dungeon crawler, actually 😅 it's a horde mode defense game with one vs. all or full-coop modes. Really don't understand why it is not taking of more, with an excellent price point, great minis, lot of praise and an IP it is based on. But well, KS works in mysterious ways sometimes 😂
The price for Mercurial is in Singapore Dollar, so the price in USD is actually cheaper than what you see! ($115 for complete all-in, which I think is reasonable with a playmat and 4 dice trays!) I really enjoyed it on TTS, it's not perfect but it was fun and the art is gorgeous. I also loved Endogenesis so I'm definitely backing it.
Your reviews are the ones I rely on the most out of anyone, because any time we've both played a game, I've almost mirrored your experience in particular. Even so, there will always be differences, and people should do their own research on top of your opinion.
I agree with you on Jurassic Park. I’ll probably be cancelling my pledge. I wanted to see what the exclusives will be before cancelling. Can’t imagine they will have anything worth the extra money though. I love Jurassic Park but not this much. Minis aren’t even all that good in my opinion.
I actually cancelled my pledge for Scythe back it first launched so I could back Cthulhu Wars OS2 and glad I did. Scythe isn't bad, but it's a bit dull and I hate having stompy mechs that are mostly for moving resources rather than battle. There was a Dragonquest game from back in the 70s or 80s when I was kid. Always looked cool, wonder if this dice game is any good. It certainly looks like it's based on that older title, haven't heard about it in years.
Dead by Daylight will be a 1 vs Many game. Something similar to the Last Friday, maybe. Survivors turn on generators while being hunted, turn on enough to escape. A popular video game that would be in a more nishe board game genre. One that will sell well regardless of whether the game is good or not.

With my wedding coming soon, I have to resist myself from buying and backing board games to save money. Can you make a video about "how to save money and walk away from good Kickstarters campaign"?
I want to be excited for Encyclopedia, but a previous campaign hasn’t delivered. Blah blah blah, we hear that all the time now, but here’s the thing: Museum Deluxe was just a deluxe production of an existing game, plus one small expansion, and it’s excessively late for what it is. Many games that required a lot of development had later campaigns and have already been delivered. Due to Museum Deluxe, I have no faith in Holy Grail Games. And that’s too bad, because I do like the original Museum game.
@@BoardGameCo I take that back. Every designer can decide on the number of players. I just like inclusivity and looking at a game that could potentially be a 1/2 player in addition to the published number rubs me the wrong way. But it's their right.

I find the art for encylopedia meh and with the lack of stretch goals for the base, I will wait and see when it's out on retail
Fair enough
Hello Alex, I miss your Monday "To Back Or Not To Back", I stop watching your daily video for a while because board game hobby is too costly. With my wedding coming soon, I have to resist myself from buying and backing board games to save money. Can you make a video about "how to save money and walk away from good Kickstarters campaign"?
30cm tall for all of us who use the metric system! 😁
Lol thanks
Backing tidal blades and casting shadows. Really not much more room in the budget of $$ or time for more games.
Just wondering do you have any stats how many viewers stay unt dad's joke of the week 🤣
nothing on Mercurial? =(
Last one covered. Starts at approx @55:20. Time stamp missing from video and not listed in description but it is covered.
Oh no! Missed the time stamp, will fix soon
🐐🥁👍
TM really needs a new graphic designer & art director
I want to be excited for Encyclopedia, but a previous campaign hasn’t delivered. Blah blah blah, we hear that all the time now, but here’s the thing: Museum Deluxe was just a deluxe production of an existing game, plus one small expansion, and it’s excessively late for what it is. Many games that required a lot of development had later campaigns and have already been delivered. Due to Museum Deluxe, I have no faith in Holy Grail Games. And that’s too bad, because I do like the original Museum game.
Games are really limiting their audience by setting 3-6 player counts. I'm actually glad these games are not funding.
Why would you be glad it's not funding?
@@BoardGameCo I take that back. Every designer can decide on the number of players. I just like inclusivity and looking at a game that could potentially be a 1/2 player in addition to the published number rubs me the wrong way. But it's their right.
Just an FYI that the "m" word used at the end of the video is considered derogatory by that particular group of society
Fair point, thank you
-Still you didnt cover League of Dungeoneers.. only thing worth backing currently in my eyes.
