Yeah I can understand the sentiment for Thunder Road Vendetta. I was lucky enough to go to Gencon and get the maximum chrome edition which carried all the expansions in one box. Unfortunately I feel like its best way to play it but the chrome edition is so hard to get and expensive.
Highly recommend Gaslands to many considering TRV!!! We got an everything from the KS for TRV and sold after another friend introduced us to Gaslands more recently. While it is a miniatures game it’s dirt cheap, just rules book and hot wheels cars are all you need. Fits the Mad Max theme we were wanting much better and it’s the most fun gaming sessions we’ve had all year!
I see that I didn't manage to convince you with War of the Ring. Okay.. you will regret after we'll play it in Geneva. Also, a great point about the creator's responsibility regarding the number of players on the box. 100% agree with you. Awesome video buddy, thank you 😊
Thunder Road is just good fun with fun people. I can see how some people wouldn't like it though, as things are not always in your control. I loved it after the first play and I need to try the expansions. As well, I really want to try War of the Rings but I'll wait until someone I know has it or I can try it at a convention. Everyone keeps telling me it's good but hard to table. I've always wanted a good LoTR game that doesn't take forever to play, so I am still on the lookout for other options.
To get rid of War of the Ring is brave. I agree it is to long with to many exceptions of special special. But it is beautiful and extremly thematic (with a lovely theme). I probably sould get rid of mine but I can't. had to good games of it with very tense endings and interesting developments :)
I have the mille fiori expansion! Devir did a limited crowdfunding release with their devir500 program, I believe it's going to have a wider release soon.
I believe Godtear is actually up to 6; since even in the 1v1 you are controller 3 factions vs 3 factions so it just parces those out to each player instead and cant you get rid of something i want but do not yet have ?

Agree 100% re:Thunder Road. I can't get Scarface to the table either, it sucks, also waaaaaay to long

I almost backed Scarface.
Scarface 1920 has a high ceiling of enjoyment. It requires a lot of play to grasp the gameplay and soak in the fun
