That's a self-defeating philosophy on the topic. Many black people feel (righteously by my account in most cases) disenfranchised from the benefits they help deliver in the process, and don't have faith that anything has been done to help or better their situation. You attract more flies with honey than vinegar; don't be condescending or lay on a guilt trip when you could be positively reminding people of the work done so far, and the work still to do. There is a lot people of all races and stations have to be thankful for in the last 4 years, but the feelings on the matter have not caught up with the reality of the situation.
An aside, the fact that the Biden campaign has not been capitalizing on the wave of George Floyd protests that were insulted and assaulted by the Trump administration all along the way is criminal in its waste. There's 4 decades of Trump's own words showing how little he cares for black communities in America, start an ad or a headline with his quote about the Central Park 5 for God's sake.

@@viveksmom Apparently despite Kellyanne running Trumps campaign in 2016, George only met Trump after the election, when he was invited to be Solicitor General. He turned it down and turned Trump critic right then and there. And he has repeatedly voiced his regret, that he was convinced to vote for Trump in 2016.
I can understand, why he tried to keep his marriage together for the sake of the kids, but eventually he had to divorce her exactly for the sake of the kids. He looks a lot better now, lost a lot of weight and seems a lot happier and more free to just be him.
