Thank you for actually looking at the theory/chord structure. Bunch of videos on YT where the players get most or even all the notes but don’t have any feel - but you clearly get it - it’s not even about having the exact notes he played, it’s about nailing his groove. Party on.

I was literally messing with this a couple days ago. I’ve got his artist transcriptions book and it took me a month to get down the solo in Christmas Time is Here. Best holiday album ever.
@@FrazierPianoStudio Lol, sorry for the multiple comments, and them being so darned long. I have three different books with this tune(Guaraldi is kinda exclusively why I picked up the keys a while back), never made heads or tails of this section, but now I can do the first little bit, until you seem to leave out some of the riffs(I'm not terribly musically inclined, even on guitar, which I've played for 40+ years...)(Lefty, play righty). Mebbe it's all there, I just missed how it all fits together. I've seen the Winston version on a different vid, but I sure as hell can't keep up with that, lol(tho my Masked Marvel Music is accidentally about as interesting as his!). So, hate to put the pressure on ya, but unless you finish this, I'll never be able to play it. :D (THANKS-I am SO tickled at the bit that I CAN play, I just get frustrated when I...run out of notes I know.)

The book is really awful for the solo sections. Unplayable and it doesn't sound like the real thing.

Great thanks. Can you play the whole middle section slowly beginning to end. :-) Just easier to understand as one piece once done learning.
