Congratulations: You have come full circle, Adam. Just a few short years ago you were living in a van down by the river, but today you fly first class, stay in 5 star hotels, and sit in the costliest seats at sports venues. You have earned it all through hard work and dedication to your craft. It remains my opinion that you represent a perfect example of fulfilling the American Dream.
As a Yankees fan, I want to thank you for honoring the past and the beauty of the stadium! Always good fun to root against the opposing team, but that doesn’t take away from the history. Thanks for the great video!
@@EatChewReview I guess that means the history at Polo Grounds I/II was also wiped away when they build Yankee Stadium 1? All the Mets history at Shea? The team itself is the history, not where they happen to be playing imo.
@@davidgaston7334 Yankee Stadium has way more history than Shae. Polo was unfortunate but all the history from the actual house that Ruth built was torn apart, it wasn’t kept at all. Also there’s a reason why Fenway and Wrigley are still standing even with age…
As a baseball historian, the first time I went to Fenway Park was mind-blowing. I was sitting in old seats thinking someone sat here watching Babe Ruth bat against Walter Johnson, who I consider to be the best hitter and pitcher in baseball history. You couldn't get a better hitter/pitcher match-up, though I'll note Ruth was a much better hitter once he left Boston and stopped pitching regularly, but still it was amazing.
Hey Adam, if you want to experience something unique if you go to another Yankees game, the MTA sometimes runs a vintage train to the stadium on game days.
Thanks for that wonderful walk down memory lane Adam! Although I live in Sarasota area now, I was born in the Bronx. You passed right through my old neighborhood. Loving you and Jay showing the sites and sounds of NY. Love my FL life, but boy do I miss the food.
Adam I was born in the BRONX ( a place I don't want to go back to. .. I was born not to far from Hunts point ave.. I went to p.s.47 THANK you for this one.....
Hi Adam, I'd just like to say that I am loving these NYC days that you are documenting. It's fascinating seeing all the different locations and is providing some wonderful escapism, thank you very much.
It was awesome meeting you outside the stadium! The chanting at the top of the first is an informal roll call of the players from the right field bleachers. They do it every game. It’s fun to watch!
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Mr Woo and Jay...i love old baseball history, being from thr Boston area ..The spot where old Yankee stadium was is amazing..I remember last year as you guys were in Fenway and showed where home plate was from the first park in Boston was 🏞️🌄🐻
Really brought back memories. I was on a school field trip from Norwalk Ct. to the old Yankee Stadium in 1962. It was a double header with the Minnesota Twins. I saw the Yankee greats play! Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, hit home runs.. Yogi behind the plate..what a privilege to see these famous players on the field!
Went to the original Yankee Stadium in 78. I was 18, and my hero Thurman Munson was named captain and the heart and soul of the Yankees in 76! I'll never forget it. What great feeling. I don't recall if the Yanks won or not, but I was elated just to have been present in the stadium. The following year in 79, tragedy struck and Munson died practicing take offs and landing his plane. It was heartbreaking. But, it's great to see the new stadium and hope to get back to NYC again for a game. You can take the girl out of NY but you can't take NY out of the girl. The Yanks will always will be my home team.
Wow! What an incredible video. I felt like I was there with you guys. Thanks for taking us and showing us what a day at Yankees stadium would be like. Looking forward to the next trip. ⚾💯
Adam, longtime Yankees fan and Woo watcher here. So we definitely never call New Yankee Stadium the House they Ruth built, as that was the old demolished stadium. This is the House that George built (Steinbrenner). We don't consider this new stadium a cathedral & most fans didn't want the new stadium. Also the Sinatra vs Liza thing used to be true in the old stadium when George was alive.
Hey Adam! You are finally in my home state! Loving this video series. Brings back memories from when I lived in NYC. Your hotel is in my old area. Loved it there. Yankees are my team, love watching games in Yankee stadium. Next time you’ll have to visit Long Island. So many great spots to see. Have fun!!!
✌️😎..was really cool seeing the stadium up close like that, thanks for doing this one, and the site of the old location,,that's outstanding to be able to stand at home plate like that. Rad ⚾️
If you guys come back, you should check out the Yankee museum in the stadium, they have all the baseballs signed by every person who put on the pinstripes, also have Thurman Munson’s locker from the old stadium. And if you have the funds, legends seating is out of this world. Like non stop food, snacks, drinks etc it’s crazy.
Adam, really enjoyed your awesome video! Love NYC and again wish I could visit but, not at all possible! I've only been to The Ballpark in Fort Worth and long before they moved. That burger looked so good and so did your nachos! Looking forward to your next vlog. Adam, YOU ROCK!!!!!
Brave my loyal Tampa J fans! I am so glad you are enjoying your stay up here in the big apple. I don’t know if you are aware, but they are filming in Huntington. Wouldn’t it be nice if you went there and you were on the set of course after it’s closed, and when the show comes out, you can then bring back the memory and say I was here. Enjoy the rest of your visit. Boys have the best time of your life.
Yogi Berra was the Houston Astros bench coach from 1985-1989. I wish I had the opportunity to meet this great man but never did. Glad you were able to meet him Adam.
You, Jay and Chris all look healthy and happy, and watching when I saw your 99 burger, I think I came. That burger looks incredible!!! Jim K in Nashville

I always appreciate your videos and that you are an avid baseball fan like I am. I have been to about 16 stadiums through the years and would have to say that my favorites are still the iconic Wrigley and Fenway, because it is like stepping back in time and walking through history. Have been to both the old and new Yankees stadium, but am disappointed that I have not checked out Monument Part. Great job by the way!
Good thing Issac didn't go full George Brett. I can imagine he wasn't overly pleased. Thanks for the awesome video, AtW and Tampa Jay. Always love the ballgame vids.
I remember going to old Yankees Stadium a few times as a kid. The Bronx was a different animal in the 70's & 80's. I'd love to tour the new stadium just for the stories and history.
I was at the old Yankee Stadium for David Well's Perfect game. That arch in the softball field is a part of the old stadium and you use to be able see the subway pass over behind right field. Definitely miss the voice of Bob Shepard. "NOW Batting..For the New York Yankees..Number 2... Derek Jeeterrrr
