I love that your intros are not 5min long talking! You get right to the point! Your a beautiful lady with beautiful ideas😘
Thank you for such sweet words 💕
Simple is often the most elegant!
I use a butter knife to push things down into the hot glue so my hand never touches it. Also, there are some great Tutorials for making hot glue stands from Dollar tree items so you won't have to worry about getting it on your surfaces. This gave me an idea to make a tier for Shrimp cocktail.
Hi sweet girl. Just a little tip I have learned. When putting a new glue stick in if you add a dab of the hot glue to the end of the new stick before putting it in , it grabs onto the old one no problem. Hope this helps ❤️ love your channel
Excellent tip, thank you
Great idea. I think my glitter n bling 💙💙💙

Lol, you are BY far the most Realistic Crafter I have ever seen on RUclips. THANK YOU! Nothing irritates me more then seeing these crafters that hold down their hot glued items without so much as flinching. You are awesome!
Charlie M. ... I don't flinch. I've been working with hot glue for so long it doesn't bother me. Too me its not hot anymore

Love these simple, but beautiful ideas!
This is really neat. You could put one of those color changing LED lights under the goblet.
I always follow a tip from Martha Stewart from her first tv show: if you use hot glue gun, always keep a bowl of cold water with ice cubes to stick your fingers in if you get glue on it. Saved me many times!

You tickle me.
Love your work! Thnx.
Awe, thank you 😊
Hey girl, that was super cute I kept thinking of all the misfit plates and glasses you can get at thrift shops and with Christmas coming how cute would a centerpiece be .. you are so creative :)
For the goblet stand, why not first full the goblet with colored glass marbles from dollar tree, any color that suits the event and glue a CD to the rim, holographic side to the goblet. This will act as a weight to stabilize you stand if you have something heavier on it like cupcakes or fruitcake. The CD will offer a bit of reflective sparkle also.
i think the green plate would also look good if you put some type of deco in the cup with small lights like for x mas i love the whole idea and thanks for the vids
Hi Beauty&theStamper,
Nifty ideas for making the tiered effect when serving party foods to guests. A safety suggestion: keep a glass of H20 close by to dunk burning fingertips into.
You need to make a hot glue stand using dollar tree items. Don't ruin your table and get wooden dowels and use it to press the hot glue and you won't burn your fingers .
+Terry Rodriguez Yes, great idea
Yes, I saw someone, I think it was Happy Bird, who used a Dollar Tree plastic butter keeper to hold her hot glue gun. I thought it was a great idea, and ready made. She used the top upside down to hold the glue gun. : )
yes that is what im aafraid of using it for first time to get burnt
Terry Rodriguez I use chopsticks and skewers when I craft with my hot glue gun. What builds on them rolls right off....

Fun fun! Thanks
At JoAnn"s you can buy rubber "fingers" that will protect your fingers from the hot glue.
Always keep a glass of ice water near when you're using a hot glue gun. It's easy to plunge your fingers in and if you don't need it, you can always drink it after!
Love it!!!!
The lady on Magnolia Housewife ( I Think) used a silicon spatula to press down items that have hot glue.
You mention using a candle, with the glass inverted, it'll never stay lit. Instead use a battery-powered tealight, they're tiny and should last for several hours and, of course, are far safer! Nice ideas you have here!
+Terri S Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking when I mentioned a candle. Thank you for clarifying. TFW
LOL I know right....NO OXYGEN

I love your videos. I do them with my 5 year old grandson and he loves giving his Mom the gifts, & from Dollar Tree you can't complain.
So thank you so much for taking your time and ideas and sharing them with us. Are you on Instagram?
Jean, keep a small bowl of cool water on your craft table, and when you get a little hot glue on your fingers, just stick them in the water and it hardens the glue and no burn!!
TIP....when you go to Home Depot...get a piece of bathroom tile....large or small...maybe a $1.00...and use under your glue gun....and protect your table...AND...they also have the wood floor samples "free"...for coaster/small projects....looks good..
+mslydia me Ooh, what a great tip! Thank you! TFW
cute! thanks for sharing :)
Love your diy! Suggestion: I would recommend using using hot glue gun sticks from the Dollar Tree. I have been using those glue sticks for a while now, and love the quality! The hot glue doesn't yellow and is strong! Compared to other glue sticks from Walmart or a local craft store, I find they work just as well! Tfs! 💕
k
+Julia Linnette Martinez Vazquez They sure do, but... I can tell the difference between these and other glue sticks. TFW

Pamela Cunningham

You could glue the goblet to the white plate.

+Bonnie Mariani Ooh, that sounds good. I'd love to see it, if you do it. Please post and tag me in IG, if you do make one. TFW
So funny how you say "Be careful" to yourself as if you are telling someone else who burned themselves. i talk to myself the same way.
Hi Im new to your channel and so far for the first one its a home run! :) Thank you for this I love it!
I'm like you, I like to present my food as well, even just for myself it makes eating "clean" (veggies) some how taste better lol.
I also thought of demonstrating my products for my business of makeup.
Popsicle sticks works great to press hot glue items...They make really thin ones also.
If you can't find really thin sticks ask your beautician or go to "Sallys" or a beauty store, they use them for waxing.
I use wooden skewers when I work with my glue gun. It saves me from getting burned when I need to hold a glued area on a project....
You can get that large wrap off wish. Very pretty an inexpensive.
It needs to be hotter. The least of the stick in the back of the heater is still getting hot.
She's just letting them bad boys rest on the table 😂
+Betsy Y. Yep, they have a mind of their own. TFW
would you do some kind of diy with large wooden letters on some kind of pedistal. just a thought
I love you and all your idea's. Im getting married next fall and im at a loss for what to do ..we have a theme and colors but the diy ideas just arent coming to me like they used to.
Yay! Congratulations 🍾 I hope I can give you a bit of inspiration 😊
I didn’t know you could get that brand of glue in hot glue stick form ~ will need to see if I can get that one here, can get that brand in other forms, so should hopefully be able to
+Lisa Jarvis yes you can
