Thank you! My husband who is 76 has had multiple strokes and two major heart attacks. It’s all under control now…sort of! We are so glad to have your videos. PT was a disaster. This one is exactly what we were working on last night. Thanks again!

The idea of crowds having an adverse effect on our walking,so resonates with me, thanks for the info

Crowds or a store that has tooooo much stuff. Effects the vestibular and makes it more difficult to walk

So thorough! And so aware of what’s happening in the heads of people (me included!) with Neuro diseases. Geez 🙄 half the time I even have to remind myself to breathe. Next try, I’ll tell myself to let go 😌Thank you

Such a good video. The mental part is surprisingly strong. I notice I get stiff and walk poorly when new people are around me who haven't seen me after the stroke.

For the first 5 minutes of the walk I consciously rotated my torso and for the next 25 minutes I continued instinctively. I feel more relaxed and less tired than usual. I will continue to practice walking like that. Thanks Tara.

When i try to walk with rotation , I look like i am wobbling like a duck. Part may be some pain i am dealing with. I will try thw suggestions you hav given. Maybe most of them. Thank goodness for your channel.

Tara thanks! one question, do you think strabismus, or double vision will inhibit trunk rotation? looking straight and walking is difficult, if i swing my arms, my upper body goes forward (I feel disconnected). Your help is invaluable. Thank you!

Thanks for watching and for the question! Strabismus can definitely impact your balance and thus your walking in general.
