      probably not ; He was just saying that his brother used SH101 and 303 ; I prefere ceephax to squarepusher anyway, his music and his videoclip changed my life in many ways !!
      For squarepusher, the beginning of wooshki is the only thing that affected me, and I think I listen to almost all the tracks of both brothers :) anyway music is surely no competition...it's about sharing different feeling for different people :)

    you can tell it was fish and chips because the tune has a sort of restrained joy coupled with a profound solemn attitude, definitely a fish and chips tune.

    I bought Christian Vogel's copy of this in 1999, but then sold it. I should have kept it!
    This sounds MUCH (to my ears, anyways) better now then it did 15+ years ago.

    The 707 was obviously still in its box when purchased from Ebay for $5 - you can tell by the slight peak at 5kHz.
    You are sort of correct about the table - it was French oak from the sixteenth century coming coast from near Brittany - this is a fact.

    Prob my favorite from Squarepusher ,sure you can go over the top with technical wizardry but the vibe in this does not have a tutorial.

      and actually yes I remember analysing the harmony of this song btw, and at the heart of the melody, there is 3 fith (or 4th) intervals, stacked together, so none of them is taking over the other, that's how you can create a spacy, unreal but open kind of ambiance ; this could fit in a minor scale like this one, so it's a bit sad, but open enough so there is hope :)

    sounds like 707 hats ...and I think the table he puts his equipment is a 1870 mahogany from southern France.. ...also sounds like he had fish and chips before making the tune.

    Roland MC202...one of the best monosynth during the 80's, the sequencer is super "robot" style; like an MC-4. Awesome sequence!!!

    By listening to it, and being well versed in vintage Roland hardware... You can tell the difference in sound between an SH-101 and a TB-303 surprisingly enough. :/

    @ballacid the envelope sounds a bit to wide for it to be a 303 and i know he was a fan of controling an sh-101 with a 303 meh then again maby its just coz of the reverb.
