- This is the opening sequence from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 for the Nintendo Gamecube.

Its crazy over the past 8 years, with all of the advances in gaming, they haven't made a better TW since 2005.
‘07 came close but ‘05 reminds top dog, imo.

Yeah. It was over when they changed the ball physics and attribute caps from 110 to 11 in 06. 06 was a good game in my opinion but it changed the formula too much and hurt the series in the long run.

man 2004 and 2005 years i had every single ea sports game.... wow!... 2006 was that transition to next generation and you could see the effects it had on the games, unfortunate but had to happen.

I've been playing PGA 2k21 recently and it's almost a genuine modern version of this. Nothing beats the nostalgia but if you're missing it I would highly recommend 2K21, similar mouse and keyboard controls just slightly more advanced ball shaping, custom player made courses. Career mode isn't as good I don't think, but still

@@lincolnchiller1274 Yeah, I remember it too well, especially when one of my discs were cracked and could no longer play the game.
At least now when I emulate it, I can have it change automatically. Downside is depending which disc I start on, if I switch to the other, the audio glitches until I switch back.

The games a piece of shit. You aim one place and you depending where you are you hit it 50 yards short of where you are or ahead. I still play it though xD
Richard Aldrich Well yeah that's why the game gives you information regarding wind direction and elevation change. A big part of the game is taking those factors into account and that's one of the aspects that I find enjoyable about it. Plus it had a kick-ass character customization system, better than most that I see even in modern games. The only real complaints I have are that depending on the slope of the putting green, at times the "Tiger-Vision" auto aim would bug out and you'd waste an entire Tiger-Vision on a shot that basically put you back where you started, but there were only two locations in which this was a problem, and the Tiger-Vision information is based off of your caddy's aiming instructions, so you can kind of place the blame on him for not knowing what he was doing.
