For those who watched anime, when Zenoba referenced "Silent" they were not talking about fitz, as the translations kept saying she, when later translations when actually talking about Silent Fitz, it was always "He" pretty sure not a translation error.
Him: You must be holding back, huh? Also him: Uses an OP spell that only very few people know in the world and his demon eye that predicts future movements.
If I remember correctly in the light novel he came close to behead Sylphie, he launched the rock so fast that it pierce the barrier and exploded on another one creating hundred of shards everywhere.
Fun fact, in the light novels it was only one stone cannon, however it was so powerful that it shattered the advanced(or saint i forget) tier barrier around them and absolutely blasted a magic resistant stone wall behind it. He also almost aimed it at Fitz, but decided against it last second.
I know everyones commented on how Rudy used Disturb magic and acted like it was some everyday spell but lets pause for a second when you remember that he then used stone cannon. The same move the left a mark on the freaking Dragon God. Rudy was a few inches away from making Sylphie's head explode like a watermelon

@@aderpypotato9270 I was talking about rudeus just killing his enemy fitz in battle or if the latter lives but lost, he would just bully him to make him feel like the loser he is Those are the two ways to get victory over his newfound enemy
I love that this is the first time we actually see Rudy use the disturb magic spell, we see him trying to figure out how it works very shortly after Orsted used it on him, but it's year later when we finally see him use it to great effect
I like to think that if you got hit by disturb magic you can figure out how to cast it, like it is a feeling thing, and you try to evoke that feeling again
Remember those of you wondering how he at least didn't figure out who she was when he saw the wand: The glasses she's wearing are specifically enchanted to prevent her from being recognized. Also Rudy is highly creative and learns effectively when he wants to, but he isn't a genius.
I see a lot of people commenting about Rudeus asking about Disturb Magic as though it's an everyday spell. I think it was a valid question considering the context. He's at a magic academy, and he's facing the top student. If Fitz hasn't heard of it, then most of the student body will probably not have heard of it either. It's a good benchmark to set.
Rudeus disturbed a whole lot more than just Sylphy's magic here. She as Fitz had been Ariel's most powerful asset and had already brought Linia and Pursena to heel. "His" strength had brought in allies to Ariel in the Triumvirate. And Rudeus dunks on "him" in seconds.
iirc, the magic circle they are fighting on in that sparring sess is healing, however, it does not stop one from being straight up dead. Had he of actually aimed at "Fitz's" head, they would be legit dead

Correct me if i am wrong but Disturb Magic can not be used by anyone since you lost likely would need to know what magic your target is trying to cast in order to disrup it? It works fine for Rudeus since he has the demon eye which lets himsee e few seconds in the future , you can see him use it here ar 0:17 , maybe normal mages would be able to sue it agaisnt someone who has to chant before the spell but not against someone like Sylphie who can use chantless spells.
I wonder how it would be if Rudeus make an artifact that has disturb magic spell on it, in that way he would only need to aim it I know in the LN there's something similar, but it works at low distance
Bruh like from this commenty section I discover that Distrub magic its like the ultimate spell from one of the god in the world. Rudius with his JRPG knowledge was like, huh yeah i can try that.
Sylphy was such a joke this season. Spent aaalllllll that time this season not showing her identity because she was scared. Could have spent the season showing more fight scenes but Sylphy just had to waste time.
I remember discussions among anime fans on Reddit on if Rudy is going to be stronger than Sylphy in this part of the series when he finally meets her. I think we've got an answer now.
Rudeus disrespected Fitz so much. Using an OP staff, using his demon eye, using disturb magic (both OP). Win with a basic spell and after that say thanks for letting me win. Like Fitz had a chance to begin with.
That staff is not op, not even good tbh, atleast for rudy. Minor spoiler: That staff basically halfs the mana cost for spells. But since rudy has almost infinite mana, the staff is almost useless
To be honest he thought that he'll have to pay tuition fee if he lose. If I could get into situation when I could avoid paying for studies, even I could go such a lengths like humiliating senior students with everything I have to attain a free education.
@@Trian. No, actually it does a lot more. It makes his spells 5x more powerful for the same mana cost (for water spells. 2x for fire, 3x for earth and wind). Aqua Heartia is legitimately a huge match for him.
I assume knowledge plays a massive role on incantation-less chanting, as you'd know how to manipulate the mana into what you want. Creating a nuke through magic when you know the basic atomic theory isn't hard, but that knowledge only applies for Rudeus. Another instance of this was when Roxy made Rudeus take the final exam for Water Saint Magic, in which he ordered Rudy to cast Nimbus and keep it for an hour (something impossible for a kid), but Rudeus casted Nimbus along wind currents that constantly fed the storm, resulting in a more powerful version that also self-replicated without using further mana. And the last instance of it, it's when he faced Badigadi. A normal person would just blast the biggest, pointy rock at his foe. But Rudeus analyzed it, compressed the rock and added centrifusal force to the rock, making it a deadly, high-powered drill that would've killed practically anyone who takes it.

For those who watched anime, when Zenoba referenced "Silent" they were not talking about fitz, as the translations kept saying she, when later translations when actually talking about Silent Fitz, it was always "He" pretty sure not a translation error.
don't know if you've read the ln but they were indeed referencing to another student
he was talking about someone else
@@trestons yes correct
@@stratosm3154 are they referring to nanahoshi? Not an ln reader btw

This season should be called
"Journey to heal my impotency"
If I had a coin for every time Rudeus mistakes Sylphy's gender, I'll have 2 coins, which isn't much, but it's weird that happened twice.
Not like she was actively hiding her identity and pretending to be a man this time or anything silly like that. 🤔
Walks in, beats the best student (with magic no one else can use), Refuses to elaborate, leaves
It's so cute that Sylphie's still using the beginner's wand that Rudy gave to her lol
It's not only Distrub Magic spell, but used with his Demon Eye makes it all the more effective. A powerful combo.
Mage: *starts chanting*
Rudeus: *no*
I know everyones commented on how Rudy used Disturb magic and acted like it was some everyday spell but lets pause for a second when you remember that he then used stone cannon. The same move the left a mark on the freaking Dragon God.
Rudy was a few inches away from making Sylphie's head explode like a watermelon
Manz nearly killed his future wife lol
it boggles me that everyone just accepts that he did disturb magic there even thought nobody probably not even the teachers know what that is. or maybe its something left out in the anime again
I remember how Orsted reacts when rudeus cast disturb magic to him. It’s like a taste of your own medicine. What a monster
i believe i'm not the only who jiggles and screaming during this scene knowing these two finally reunited.
Count me in 😂
Not me. I would have preferred if he had humiliated that enemy or better yet, killed him/her instead of being merciful or even helping him/her get up
If rudeus was another person, he would have done that without hesitation
@@xavierperesyou’re the only one who thinks that weirdo
@@aderpypotato9270 I was talking about rudeus just killing his enemy fitz in battle or if the latter lives but lost, he would just bully him to make him feel like the loser he is
Those are the two ways to get victory over his newfound enemy
@@xavierperesYou okay my dude?
Now that's a hero that fought hard for his harem!
i love the style that Rudeus has for summon spells
He certainly repaid them later...
Rudeus: "wow, he's such a bro."
Sylphie: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAA-
I love that this is the first time we actually see Rudy use the disturb magic spell, we see him trying to figure out how it works very shortly after Orsted used it on him, but it's year later when we finally see him use it to great effect
Finally it's here I've waited for so long for this to be animated!!!
"Am i gae arc?" as finally started!
More like "why r u gae?" arc
never made sense to me how Rudy wouldn't recognize his own old wand.
Não é algo exclusivo dele, reveja o episódio que ele ganha a varinha
I like to think that if you got hit by disturb magic you can figure out how to cast it, like it is a feeling thing, and you try to evoke that feeling again
Since Rudeus uses science to shape his magic, he probably could reverse engineer what made his magic fail when orsted used it on him
crazy that in the light novel he could've killed her if he didn't change the direction of the bullets at the last second
I like how he says what soft hands even though she is wearing gloves.
Maybe he meant the grip. As in, I grasped onto him but only just enough😅.
tough calloused hands would be noticeable though thin gloves
Rudeus didn't recognize a wand he created and gave to his friend/student.
i wish i could go back in time and watch this season for the first time again
Remember those of you wondering how he at least didn't figure out who she was when he saw the wand: The glasses she's wearing are specifically enchanted to prevent her from being recognized. Also Rudy is highly creative and learns effectively when he wants to, but he isn't a genius.
Rudeus' "homie" arc begins
Next episode mini rudeus comebacks to life
They should have called it his sexual healing arc
He payed up alright
He mistook the same girl as a guy TWICE now. Rudeus... 🤦
he did pay her back alright
but dam rudeus was dense as hel, i mean the dude had absolutely no idea for like 10 episodes lmao
Rudeas just came in, used literal magic that only god's use Ranma, or Disturb magic and acts like this is but a daily use magic spell
What you looking for is often in front of you 😂
he repay her by putting a baby in her as she requested LOLOLOLOLOL
iirc, the magic circle they are fighting on in that sparring sess is healing, however, it does not stop one from being straight up dead. Had he of actually aimed at "Fitz's" head, they would be legit dead
Thank you so much❤❤❤
The reason he fought sylphie is because in the LN she a total fucking badass.
Bro went from being a fat NEET Otaku, being reincarnated as a baby, discovering magic, making a friend and mistaking her for a boy, saw the female's reproductive system for the first time in 20 years, family broken and lost, reuniting with a childhood friend without knowing. And yet, having 3 wives and 6 kids. Such a big difference the NEET has achieved.
The funny thing is when Rudy convinces himself whether he is cured because he likes the same sex when he still thinks of shylphie as a man 😆😆😆
Nah, he figures out that she's a female in the library when he gets semi cured.
@@ImSick0he has his suspicions, but he goes "it doesn't matter" and accepts that If fitz is a man, so be it
@@HaxeRain He literally confirms it in the library when she falls on him. Go read the manga/LN/WN
He just wondered if he was gay; then he was relieved he wasn't when he fell over fitz and felt her body
He repaid with a wedding ring
2nd time he's mistook her for a male.
This is the start where Rudeus started to question his sexuality.
He did pay her later lol
And then they had 2 children, the end.
The arc starting to feel like high school slice of life
Just a heads up, it's gonna be a couple more of these types of episodes. Gonna be a a while before we have anything similar to season 1 depending how it's adapted
@@lerux8392yeah if I'm not mistaken every 12 ep cour adapted about 3 volumes and magic school period is volumes 8 and 9 so Id assume this cour will end with the ending of volume 9
Because it kinda will be - as it follows his life different arcs are more adventure/slice of life esque, but starting with the second part there should be adventure again
We know season 2 will adapt the labyrinth arc near the end but until then this season will be nice and chill
@@Emerardo cour 1 is like the calm before the storm. in this case the storm is TP 3
Bro fr just pulled a counterspell
Correct me if i am wrong but Disturb Magic can not be used by anyone since you lost likely would need to know what magic your target is trying to cast in order to disrup it? It works fine for Rudeus since he has the demon eye which lets himsee e few seconds in the future , you can see him use it here ar 0:17 , maybe normal mages would be able to sue it agaisnt someone who has to chant before the spell but not against someone like Sylphie who can use chantless spells.
And this is why rudy only fights like 2 mages in the series
I wonder how it would be if Rudeus make an artifact that has disturb magic spell on it, in that way he would only need to aim it
I know in the LN there's something similar, but it works at low distance
when fitz have the ephiphet silent and got silenced
tomboy sylphy back at it !!
and then they had 2 children
He did pay her in the end! Hehe 😏
Bruh like from this commenty section I discover that Distrub magic its like the ultimate spell from one of the god in the world.
Rudius with his JRPG knowledge was like, huh yeah i can try that.
How does rudeus keep fucking up and thinking sylphie is a guy lol
literally everyone there thinks that too tho
ハの字になったちっこい眉がイイ!!
in 2 years he's gonna get her pregante
Sylphy was such a joke this season. Spent aaalllllll that time this season not showing her identity because she was scared. Could have spent the season showing more fight scenes but Sylphy just had to waste time.
I remember discussions among anime fans on Reddit on if Rudy is going to be stronger than Sylphy in this part of the series when he finally meets her. I think we've got an answer now.
Rudy is too soft & holds back a lot, but that's what I like about him ❤
No one agrees

Rudeus just wanna Futa-Sylphie!
dont tell me he didnt know her
Kind of disappointed cause I can't see the old love for Rudeus in Sylphy
Rudeus disrespected Fitz so much. Using an OP staff, using his demon eye, using disturb magic (both OP). Win with a basic spell and after that say thanks for letting me win. Like Fitz had a chance to begin with.
That staff is not op, not even good tbh, atleast for rudy. Minor spoiler:
That staff basically halfs the mana cost for spells. But since rudy has almost infinite mana, the staff is almost useless
He always overestimates his enemies
To be honest he thought that he'll have to pay tuition fee if he lose. If I could get into situation when I could avoid paying for studies, even I could go such a lengths like humiliating senior students with everything I have to attain a free education.
@@Trian. No, actually it does a lot more. It makes his spells 5x more powerful for the same mana cost (for water spells. 2x for fire, 3x for earth and wind). Aqua Heartia is legitimately a huge match for him.
When Rudy find out who she is cheeks boutta get clapped from monday to sunday
Didnt Rudy create a small atom bomb against orsted when he was 12 years old, I actually wonder what the average mana scaling is in this universe now.
Is this "am I gei ?" arc ?
😂
finally one who can make a clip
Even Sylphie has a "manlier" voice than Rudeus.
It's disappointing I was hoping they'd change his voice but still nothing I'm tired of hearing Rudy sound like a child
@@soosel9059 well hes still like 15, i heard they'll change his VA in the second cour tho
@@muhammadazka9671 they were planing on changing his voice actor even before core 2 but then decided that yumi uchiyama would continue voicing him for the foreseeable future
Unfortunately Rifujin (the author) had confirmed on twitter that at the moment there's no intention of changing the voice actor for Rudeus. The casting they did was probably just a lip service for Yumi Uchiyama since she had mentioned before that she really wants to stay as the voice for Rudeus. It's the classic example of Japanese valuing their voice actors more than the creative integrity of anime. The good thing is that Yumi Uchiyama is actually capable of doing a deeper voice than the current voice of Rudeus so it's not completely hopeless.
@@55ziomal55 I actually think it's a good idea to keep his voice as is, it's very distinct from his old / inner voice, reminding you of the issekai aspects of the show. It also fits his boy-ish looks.
