well done !! a bit like mine. i did it years ago and it was blocked, but i got it back on this year. picked some of the same photos too. nice little tune !
I like this version more from a curiosity standpoint because of the singing over each other aspect that I find distracting. I now want to listen them separately. :-) I love John and Ringo's Doo-Wop very much (which Only You is). In the '70s they went back to that music of their teen years, faithful to it, but freshly interpreted.

Right, Terry. He should have invested all kinds of time and money into digitally altering John and Ringo's vocal tracks so that their unique performances would be perfectly in sync and more to your liking. Or I guess he could have time traveled back to 1974 and convinced the two ex-bandmates to let him produce a fresh duet version for you.
Ok, this was creative but John and Ringo never sang this song "together". This is a mix of Lennon's solo version with Ringo's solo version. Sounds good but not as good as John's solo. Note to file - leave a good thing alone.
The Absolut Rare Music... Lennon&Starr

This should've been a duet
Con su propio estilo, qué buen cover.

Very nicely done, just Ringo a little low sounding needs to be raise up a bit louder!! ❤
Good job mixing the two versions, but i cant hear Ringo so well at the beginning. The end sounds closer to what i imagined.
Maravilha!
Me gusta esta rola que la antigua!!!!!!!
GREAT....!!!.

And why?
同じオケでこんなにもズレてるとは思わなかった。
リンゴはたぶん律儀に歌ってて、
ジョンはたぶんタメ気味に歌ってるからだと思うけど、
だけど、良かった!!

Wow, so rare that you took each ones version and put them together (and not very well).

Pretty sad that they didn't give any credit to Harry Nilsson he was also part of the glide track on this.

Paul McCartney played in the final song ...
No he didn't. The finished version was on Ringo's 1974 album, Goodnight Vienna and featured John Lennon and Harry Nilsson on backing vocals.
Wrong!!
