The inaugural FIRST LISTEN video is here! How are you guys feeling about Trampa's debut LP so far? Any standout tracks for you? Drop all your thoughts in the comments! 🥊💙 Also, this was of course my first stream, and the first time I'm doing this video format. If you have any tips or pointers for improvement, or things you'd like to this, please drop them in the comments too!
I really love the experimentation in this lp. P.S. Will you review the MUST DIE! album the same way and you did miss a track and that was the Rocket Fuel VIP I think although it isn't out on spotify.
With MUST DIE! Also coming out with an album, I hope we go through an era where Dubstep artists are making albums again. What I’m saying is, MARAUDA where you at lol
Tough thing about that is that it's hard to "dubstep artists" to make an album that's straight up dubstep. Obviously on an album you want variation but I feel like it's a risk for them in case people expect just wubs all the way through.
I love both the analytical reviews and live reactions, but probably the former more. There's a lot of live reaction channels nowadays and I feel like you're in your element dissecting a project structurally.
Love the “Stream” Format of the First Listen! Sad i didn’t Join Live! The EP is not my favorite, due to the “Outbranching” songs, aren’t really in my style, yet i really (dis)respect (see What i did there?) the outbranching tho! And while he still keeps it within his style, i could see him do crazy merges of genres (Space Laces style), with these new Sounds he is finding! The Collabs are on point, and the Starter and End Tracks (and ofc Your Luv and Sick Head) hit it on the head as Per usual! This is a great start! And while i might not listen to all these tunes as much, i Will SURELY love to see the future of This!
I must just not like trampas style because I found this album to be a bit boring, a lot of tracks here had really good parts in them, like the verses on generals, or the switch up in disrespect, as well as your luv, sick head, and shank as tracks in total, but most of the songs on here just don't make me feel anything when I listen to them, it's like I could get through this without wanting to turn it off, but I don't really plan on listening to any of these that much. This is definitely a step up in his creativity and he pulled of an album format well, and it's good to see him put out an album of 10 tracks. I think his style isn't for me but I will always be happy for an artist when they drop an album.
First of, i have been listening to Trampa's music since 2014. I first heard his stuff on Black Label Vol. 1 His style, his structure was so simple, yet the sound design he used made me love him within days. But arround 2018 his style changed. Wich is expected of course. As a producer you have to always stay up do date and try new stuff. I just was not one of the people who liked it. But this album. God DAMN! Brings me back to those times. Some really classic Trampa vibes on there. Simple? Yes. Same structure? Yes. But it works so WELL. He has his stuff figured out. I guess because of the current situation he had a lot of time to think about what he wanted to do for new songs. For me this album is like a homecoming of the lord. Im really happy with it. Ps. if you are reading this and have never listened to Trampa's Consciousness EP, go do that. NOW! It's da "Real Shit" 😏 I think his style peaked at Get Wicked. That song is 5 minutes 30 aswell, at 3 minutes the second drop hasnt even started, you just dont see that in todays dubstep scene.

Nobody:
Trampa making the same track 10 times.
