- On today's episode we take a look at Adam's new car, which is a VERY rare model from Japan that we found stored away on an Irish farm. This JDM barn find is a little rare and unusual, but should make for a great project! We also get the R32 Skyline up and running and prep for our biggest road trip on the channel yet, all the way to the final of Drift Masters in Poland!

The Caldina GTT in white, lowered with white rims, was a really popular in the "car scene" in New Zealand 20 years ago, I've always loved the look, interested to see what you boys do with it.. 👍🚙

Adam, give New Zealand a try for parts for these - we have a metric ton of Caldina’s, especially the GTT turbo AWD models.

ST195 is the model code for the Celica GT-Four so there might be some overlap when it comes to driveline parts

There’s a fair few Gen 2 Caldina GTT’s in Australia and some wreckers even have parts for them. The ST215 and the ST205 Celica GT Four have a lot of common drivetrain parts too.
The newer Gen 3 Caldina GT Four is the wagon version of the Celica that everyone wanted but never got cos Toyota gave up on WRC.

I've had a couple of toyota corollas from the 90s and they did so many different models at the sametime none of they really shared parts. So it was always second or third time to get the right part. Saying that I do miss my Corolla GXi and loving that wagon.
I built that caldina when I came home from oz the engine is a avensis td coilovers are avensis coilovers even made the back wing sold it for 2600 6 years ago only sold it because my father couldn't travel to hospital in it so I bought a gt4 03 TRD version witch my father died a week later after selling it best of look with it the taxi makes the big screen 😅

Anyways. Probably already mentioned, but here in the UK we have these, Toyota Corolla Estate / Touring. Obviously Not quite the same spec as what you have, I personally think we always tone our imported cars down from what they should look or sound like, legalities / safety rules / regs etc.

Active Aero, the switch is on/off for the front spoiler, where on some models the front spoiler or splitter comes out from hiding to see the world at a certain speed.

I own one if those caldinas but swapped the engine out and put in a 7MGTE, It fitted perfectly, sounds a lot better and much faster too.

The r32 had a drop down front splitter at one point. My old 2door had one. Thats what the buttons are for. I miss my 32 😔 keep up the good work boys 🤙🤙🤙
I have the same car in the states! I swapped a 3sgte 4th gen motor to the awd 5 speed. It's a fun quick car and the 97-02 gtt caldina suspension/coilovers should work. I need that trd aero though it looks so much better with it.

Scrapyard drift builds - other than fluids and tires....no new parts. source everything used, just gotta make it drift. 1) that would be fun to watch 2) kinda answers the question " can you still get into drifting cheap and how?" maybe do a collab merch drop and whoever sells more pre-orders takes the overall win

The caldina gtt is basically a more modern celica gt4. We got all of them here in New Zealand. Still cheap tbh
I've a Corolla version the G-touring and that's two tone as well blue over silver. Now I've wanted the Toyota Caldina GT for a few years now but the price for one is out of my reach.

Turd is indeed toyotas racing department but got bit shit mid 200s and got bought/merged etc.
The caldina is also a glorified corolla wagon so parts should TECHNICALLY fit, even some other toyotas. Parts wise look in AU/NZ, they were imported here too.

Look at prp gtr coil conversion kit for the r32 also. No more coil issues or wiring issue

I used to have an ST215W Caldina GTT manual in Canada (sadly some moron in a Kia SUV hit me head on and totalled it)
