A super big hug for you, not just for Christmas, but also for the unsure future at the moment. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for the final thought, that was very nice….😘😘
Wow Sherrie, what an amazing surprise! Thank you so much! My week is not complete without your Flosstube. You are much loved and bring joy to so many. With love and positive vibes❤Enjoy your festive time in a way that brings you peace and joy xx
You are such a special lady. I'm doing my best too. Getting through today one day at a time. Your final thought always gets me to my soul. I so appreciate you and your flosstubes from the bottom of my heart. Merry Christmas Sherrie and much love. ❤❤
You are a very special lady Sherrie don’t forget that. You make and inspire many of your watcher. Have a very Merry Christmas and if you are not back before the new year a Happy New Year. Take care x
I too struggle with chronic illness and pain. You have always been a reminder to me that life is still good. I hope to do the same for you if you need a sympathetic ear❤ Your needlebook is gorgeous! I learned a trick I wanted to share with you. If not happy with a color, grab a darker one and stitch over the top leg of previous stitched. Hopefully that helps with your garland bows. No 🐸 needed!🎉 Happy Christmas!
Hi Sherrie -- Love your channel; you are my kind of stitcher. :-) I must share that throughout the first part of your video I thought my cats were having a good time in the next room with their little toy - until I realized I was hearing the tiny jingle of your adorable earrings! heee! Thank you for all the joyful videos this past year, I have enjoyed them so much. All the best to you and see you in the new year.
Sherie you'll still be in my prayers 💯 and I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year and hopefully 2025 is a blessed and peaceful one as someone living with health issues myself taking care of ourselves is sometimes all we can do i look forward to another year watching your stitching adventures and your funny kind words x
Sherrie, that is the most gorgeous sweater, I just love it. Thank you for explaining Scout & Jem's names for the kitties. Both names could be male or female ❤❤
Ah another wonderful flosstube by the lovely Sherrie. Thank you for sharing your stitchy journey with us and for the glimpse into your health concerns - Take each day as it comes and handle it one moment at a time. This is your journey but we are all with you. Cat Porn - Oh my word - hillarious!! Take care x
Hi Sherrie, I enjoy your videos every Saturday and had miss you. Thank you so much for sharing, especially thay lovely "quote" that I will share with my four children that went off to college and did not return. I wish you a Christmas full of Peace and Joy 🎄☃ 🩷 ! I found a little quote about comfort, it went something like this: Why should I leave my comfy home ? I find peace, happiness, comfort, set boundaries, and sanity, which I lost but is somewhere here
I read To Kill A Mockingbird at about 14; it is still one of my favourite novels and I taught it when I could. I did O Levels (yes, I am older!) so nothing as ‘modern’. I love your flosstubes because it is just like a chat…with all aspects. Enjoy your stitching and look after yourself❤
Be well Sherrie, It's not easy getting such news but you seem to be handling it with grace. I'll be hoping for the best possible outcome for you. Having your Stitch friends and pajama zoom calls helps! 😊 🪡♥️🇨🇦
We'll have to start calling you Dory.....she could only remember 20 seconds worth 😂. Christmas can be tough, I lost my Nanna as we sat down for Christmas lunch 5 years ago. If young children are around it's better because of their excitement, the joy on their faces etc pulls you out of the darkness for a day. Thinking of you. Diagnosis takes so long. My son's brain tumour took them 8 months to find when he was 11 in 2009. Now he has another growth in his brain they are 'diagnosing ' for 6 months now. Praying for a result for both of you. Moral of the story...........start heaps cause you never know what tomorrow brings ❤
The cross stitch community around the globe will be with you during your health journey! {{HUGS}} Christmas can be hard for those we have lost along the way. What do y’all say, “Keep Calm and Carry On”? 😊 You’re such a joy to watch especially with “bits” of your kitty walking by. 🤣
Sorry you are going through your health problems but your positive attitude will see you through it. One day at a time and accepting what I couldn't change got me through serious health problems. I wish you all the best and hope you have a happy Christmas ❤❤❤
I had so many plans last year but ended up being tied to stitching WA Samplers and other gifts then due to the finger splint had to stitch at a snail's pace so I really missed stitching what I really wanted to stitch and hope to begin what I'd kitted up or just begun in the New Year. I pray that you can stay positive and if it is PD there's a lot more medical help, support and advice now thank goodness. I used to house to house collect for the charity years ago as my friend's dad had it so know how much has changed - except a cure. If something else then I hope it can be sorted. Take care Sherrie. Looking forward to your next visit to share news, plans and a Sherrie story. Thanks for not sharing the photos to the vet😮😂
You are doing great with the Nordic Countdown! I'm a bit behind but hope to catch up over the holiday. I love the threads too! What a beautiful poem you shared... sending you hugs!🤗
Thank you for sharing what has been on your heart Sherrie. We will wait for more information about your diagnosis so we can pray for your specific needs. And now knowing you lost your partner at Christmas, we pray for your strength. The poem you shared was really poignant, and will hopefully bring you some peace. 😘😘😘😘😘
Your Christmas party sounds great, I actually got some new Christmas earrings from M&S this year which I love. Wishing you strength for the investigations to come, stay positive, thank goodness we have our stitching and stitching community for the tough times. Hugs 💗
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a she/he cat. I got "Trina" from a shelter too. I was pretty sure Trina was a male but the shelter assured me Trina was a she. I took Trina to the vets to get established & asked them to tell me. When I picked Trina up, the vet yelled from the back room "It's a Boy!!!". The entire waiting room went dead quite as I started to laugh! "Trina" was then called Chattery from then on!!!!
You have a great attitude. I'm hoping along with you that it's not Parkinson's. More men get it than women, if that is any consolation. I'm thinking of you. My son has had rheumatoid arthritis since he was a teenager. It didn't really flare up until he was 25. He's 44 now. It's pretty crippling but he just deals with it and goes on with his life. What else can you do? Sending good thoughts and prayers your way! It is tough at Christmas without the ones who have passed. My Mom passed December 13, 2011. I still miss her but the memories are hoid ones. She loved Christmas. I try to keep up some of her traditions. Merry Christmas! 🎄
Miss Christmas Eve, I would do on an opalescent fabric. I love the sparkling for snow, since there's never snow in Tampa Bay!) I have most of my Christmas stitches planned for.
It's hard to know just what to say here that hasn't already been said. I admire your positivity and in all honesty, it is the most sensible way to deal with this although, also being honest, it's certainly not the EASIEST way to handle it. Most of us quite natuarally gravitate to the worst outcome when a doc throws this kind of thought at us. And it doesn't help that the actual tests and the definite diagnosis takes almost forever to get! Try to keep your thoughts upbeat as much as you can. Big hugs coming to you from NJ, USA. Steph x
Your cat story rang a bell with me my first cat took him home named him George took him in for 'the snip' only for the vet to phone and tell me you do realise George is a girl hahaha so had the other op lol and renamed Georgia! We have had 3 family members pass away in last few months Xmas doesn't feel very chrismassey but thats ok who says we have to be jolly xx Stay strong lovely lady x
My husband diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2011. I remember it being a jolt and hard on us . He had to retire a bit earlier than planned as he had a stressful job, however things turned out fine. They have meds now to control symptoms and life can go on as normal for most part. He also had DBS surgery for it in 2020 so does not need to take as many meds. If you are diagnosed, read as much as you can and join support group. It IS a controllable disease. This may be TMI but I feel I needed to reach out to you. Blessings for the new year. Feel free to contact me. Hugs. ❤
Prayers and our thoughts are with you 🕯🙏 We hope you have your desired Christmas Eve start this year. 32 count overdyed is definitely ok with mirabilia as I've done 2 designs. I'm working Boxing day on call but feel lucky I'm not having to work the big day itself. I know there's many out there who do. Enjoy your continuing stitching journey and look forward to updates, extras, plans but no more cat porn confessions please 🙉🤣🤣 🐈🐈⬛ Merry Christmas and big hugs xxx
I'm one of those not looking forward to Christmas this year I lost my dog of 13 years the end of June and then I lost my mum 5 weeks after the heartbreak is horrendous have a lovely Christmas Sherrie xx
Glad to hear you are coping better this week. Your health news would shock you and you have every right to privacy. Fabric wise for Miss Christmas eve is if you put your threads against it I think you will be better informed rather than a picture. But my personal choice from what you showed us would be the fabric from sparklies with the green in it. I think you will loose on the skin tones on other ones. Happy stitching x
Good morning from Canada (Vancouver Island - very west coast actually). I have to say your Floss tube is one of the very first I started to watch about three months ago. I’m always looking for your next presentation. Entertaining to the max for me. I do have to ask though - what is the stitch on the top shelf over your right shoulder ? Looks like pink on a green or gray in a white frame. I have an idea of what it may be but would love to see it a bit closer. Happy Holiday Season.
Loved the personalisation to the ginger bread house.
Also, the poem at the end was so touching and tear inducing (but in a cathartic way).
❤❤❤
A super big hug for you, not just for Christmas, but also for the unsure future at the moment. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for the final thought, that was very nice….😘😘
Thank you Sherrie for being here that quote was so lovely big hug from a stitcher

Thank you so much for your kind words and well wishes for Christmas and the new year x
God Bless you Sherrie❤️🤗

We love you Sherrie!
Sending you a big hug, I was touched by your last words ❤❤❤
It is one day at a time. Sending you hugs. This was a hard year but I hope you still have joy this holiday.

Praying for you 💓
Sending love & hugs. Your final thoughts are always so thoughtful provoking but today’s…❤️
Be well, Sherrie. Your heart is so kind and caring.
Aw thanks Donna ☺️
Be well and stay safe. Your closing thoughts are always so powerful , this week’s even more so. Thank you
Here in the south of US, Jem and Scout immediately bring to mind To Kill A Mockingbird. And yes, set in the south.
Be well Sherrie, It's not easy getting such news but you seem to be handling it with grace. I'll be hoping for the best possible outcome for you. Having your Stitch friends and pajama zoom calls helps! 😊 🪡♥️🇨🇦

You can survive anything Sherrie, as you well know. Try and put it out of your head ( I know that’s not easy ) and have a nice Christmas x
Be well my friend ❤. Hugs 🥰 I never make plans, too many pretty new patterns that I want to do. 😉
Hope all goes well for you sherrie. My father died on Christmas day you never forget but it does get better .enjoy your Christmas ❤
You are doing great with the Nordic Countdown! I'm a bit behind but hope to catch up over the holiday.
I love the threads too!
What a beautiful poem you shared... sending you hugs!🤗

I’m a huge fan of most things M&S 🤩
Sending lots of hugs to anyone that needs one & i hope everyone gets stitchy time over the holidays.
That Capricorn fabric is fab but personally, I'd save for something else.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a she/he cat. I got "Trina" from a shelter too. I was pretty sure Trina was a male but the shelter assured me Trina was a she. like waiting for a baby to be born 🤣🤣

I tried the threads but they’re all in flossaway bags 🙈 maybe I’ll get a few out of the green, red and skin tones. That’s a good idea thank you Lin ☺️

What a wally 🤣🤣
Why does she have "cat porn" on her phone (LOL) cats make us do SO many odd things...
❤
