Stayed here during the early nineties with c company Army cadets and to wake up, grab your toothbrush and head to the wash facilities was an absolute delight. Being surrounded by these beautiful mountains in the early light of day was a joy I'll never forget and something I'm sure all prisoners who ever stayed there would of at least been in awe of too. Thanks
Thank you very much for the brief history about Camp 21. As I found out lately, my German grandfather was for a short time of period in this camp, before he was sent further to camps in England. I am planning to walk the Rob Roy Way next year, so I want to do do the additional walk to Comrie to have a look there.
@@scotlandshistory Hello. Walked the RRW this year in May with a detour to Comrie and stayed there for two days. I had a visit at the camp and got tour through the museum. I am so glad alked this extra miles.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and that it brought good memories back. It's quite a place and it's great that some of it is being preserved and others parts are being used by businesses and community. groups.
