Depending on your needs for cameras a good cheap brand I use is Reolink I have a solar powered PTZ(pan tilt zoom) camera had 2 of them for 1.5 years never needed to charge them solar works great
Thanks for posting this. I’m curious to what brand of cameras will do the best job inside the chicken houses to give you the most benefit. Who would have thought 40 years ago that we would be able to watch our chicken houses from across town on a little device we carry on our hip?!
I would double check with the manufacturer but I think it should work depending on your setup. It is a line of sight extender though. The WiFi won’t pickup indoors but there may be options to pick up the signal indoors
Just wondering how the Ayrmesh is doing? I have been thinking of trying it for a couple of years. The line of sight might be my biggest issue. I’m in WV. They do have repeaters. Like the videos. All information is valuable and appreciated. Thanks
So far we really like it. I was pretty skeptical about it sending wifi that far. I haven't had time to look at any cameras or anything like that. We eventually will add some repeaters also i'm sure. All in all I am very pleased.
Guys I’m looking at some cameras 📷 to do videos with instead of my phone I’ve been looking at the action 3 and action 4 cameras they seem to have good reviews. I was wondering what yall use? Or suggest? Thanks.
I'm not familiar with those cameras. We use a GoPro and really like it. They do a really good job keeping the footage from being too bad shaky. We do have a DJI drone that we really like so the Action 3 or 4 will probably both be good options.
Hey what was your issue when setting it up? We have the exact setup and it’ll connect but say no internet or the red and green lights will switch on and off. What did you email Ayrmesh? Thank you
Best I can remember I emailed them and said it was not showing up on their website when I tried to connect. They were able to reset something on their end and then it started showing up. I can’t remember the exact details but I think that’s what happened.
Starlink is kind of a pain - the instructions say to set up your AyrMesh account before you connect the first Hub. But, if you set up the account more than a few hours before connecting the first Hub, Starlink will have changed your public IP address so it won't be able to "auto-magically" find your account when the Hub checks in. Then it usually goes into the "lost" account, and it will be "found" when you enter the MAC address manually. If you're really unlucky, though, it will join another Starlink user's account, and we'll have to find it and put it back in your account. Which is easy; we're just a phone call or email away.
I have a poultry farm in Ashland AL and my WiFi service works but isn’t very strong at my control rooms where I need it most I guess what asking is it worth it so far
So far I really like it. It sends the signal to several locations on our farm. There are some spots where it doesn't pick up because the line of sight is blocked. I think we will be able to buy some other devices to help improve certain spots and also hopefully get wifi inside the chicken houses.
Love mine. Well I should say that my kids love it :) lol. It is kind of amazing how simple it was.
I agree. I was very skeptical but it works great.
Absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation and millions thanks again ..
Thanks!
Congratulations on your new install.
Thank you!

Someone else recommended the Reolink also. Thank you! I have looked into them some but have not ordered any yet.
Heck yeah my parents just got starlink after not being able to conventional internet and it is working great with plenty of signal!
Also, you got any ponds on that farm? Lol
Awesome! We really like our Starlink. It has been a game changer for us.
haha I wish!

Oh no that looks very steep 👀.
Does you starlink router still broadcast inside of your house and not bypassed
That is correct. This is basically just a Wifi extender
Thanks
Eric I’m right there with you man on heights I would have done the same thing lol 😂 prefer thy brother
Can I cover an area ranging 2 km squared ? Using wifi extenders!! Is it possible.. and share the internet with my customers!?

Yes - that's the whole point of meshing - it makes it (relatively) easy to cover large areas.
@@Ayrstone will then I need towers or dishes?

We're doing OK. Just don't always have time to watch RUclips, even about our own products! 🤣

How good is the starlink at your house?
It works great! It was faster when we first got it but it’s still much faster than any other option for us.
Can you email more details please when you get a chance
